Vaccinations for Dogs 🐾🐾

It’s that time of year when we welcome lots of lovely pets and their owners for boarding.

Regrettably we’ve had to turn a couple of you away over the past few days as your dogs vaccinations were incorrect or out of date.

Our policy is all dogs must be inoculated against - Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus and Kennel Cough within the last 12 month to board with us, to protect your dogs against any potential risk.

Our full requirements are listed on the Booking Confirmation email we issue, as well as our website. These include the time scales for newly vaccinated or restarts of vaccinations.

Regrettably we will not accept any dog into our care if the vaccinations are not in order for our licence requirements.

Further vaccination reminder emails are issued prior to your arrival dates, to avoid refusal by our team/ directors at the point of checking in.

Five Star Cats

Here at Hest Bank Cat Retreat, we want all our feline guests to feel, safe and comfortable in their accommodation.

Either our cat chalets or luxury cat lodges, all have full climate controlled heating systems, and every cat is provided with a very comfy bed, scratching post, and a secure outdoor Catio space.

Meals are served twice daily to individual dietary requirements, plus our team of qualified staff spend time with our guests to ensure they’re happy, healthy and purring with content.

Welcome back!

We return after the very busy
Bank Holiday weekend with the
hot weather, and plenty to
keep us occupied.

Our Kennels and Cat Retreat have been completely full, with our other sectors not far behind!

Half term school holidays this week, so going to busy until at least this weekend.

Thankfully all our facilities have climate controlled systems to ensure all our guests are kept comfortable whatever the weather conditions may be. This has been a real investment for our business and is paying dividends this week with the hot temperatures we’re having.

The phones, emails and online bookings have been busy with requests for holidays, so please make sure you get in touch, and let us take care of your pets in a caring, safe and secure manner.

Our team of dedicated staff go above and beyond for all our guests, day care or boarding!

Bank Holidays

Don’t forget we will be closed this Bank Holiday Monday, but only to our customers.

As always, we will still be here looking after your beloved pets, and ensuring they all have a safe and happy stay.

Regrettably we’ve had to turn some customers away, due to the high volume of bookings over the next week, school half term and Bank Holiday weekend period.

Please ensure you arrange your bookings in plenty of time to avoid disappointment, wether for day care or boarding.

We always endeavour to provide space for your pets, but our accommodation is not unlimited!

We are now fully booked in our Hutch enclosure over the busy May Bank Holiday period.

Our Kennels and Cat Retreat is already fully booked and we are sorry if you have tried to book
your pets in and missed out!

We always advise to book in plenty of time over the Summer periods to avoid disappointment and inconvenience.
We will always endeavour to accommodate where possible.

Glorious Day! (Plus the odd heavy shower of rain)

We’ve had a great day with all our day care and boarding dogs with the fabulous weather!

Whilst they have their individual kennel allocated, we take each and every dog out for exercise and playtime fun.

Each dog stays here on site, so you know exactly where your dog is through the day/ night!

Our team of staff are on hand to interact and play with our dogs, and ensure they are safe, whilst having a great time in our secure exercise areas.

Daycare is available weekends, and not just during the week!
