📍Laindon • Basildon • Southminster • Dengie • Tillingham • Latchingdon My name is Estelle and it has always been my dream to work with animals, I absolutely love animals of all kinds, I have volunteered at the Pussycat

Lodge in Brentwood, and previously volunteered at the South Essex Wildlife Hospital. In November 2019 I decided to travel to Thailand and volunteer at a Wildlife Rescue and Elephant Care Centre for 2 weeks working up close with monkeys, gibbons, otters, bears rescued Asian elephants, cats and dogs. My efforts help the team to rehabilitate and care for animals living at the sanctuary, this aswell as being made redundant, made me realise I need to take the chance and do a job that meant something to me, working with animals. As a pet and dog owner myself I understand the important part that pets play in our lives and that their happiness and well-being is vital. This is where Eas-E-Walks can offer a helping hand. Having a pet can be one of the most rewarding experiences, but giving your pet the constant love and care that it deserves is not always possible. Whether it be work, holidays or personal commitments, there are a number of occasions when you may struggle to keep your pets a priority. I understand the stress that this can cause your furry companions, so I am here to stand in as the next best thing to their beloved owner. At Eas-E-Walks your pet is my number 1 priority. Whether you require a regular dog walker, an occasional pet sitter, or just someone to pop in and feed your felines while you're away, I can provide you with a friendly service, tailored to your pets needs. I believe that trust is an essential part of an owners relationship with their pets, so do everything we can to develop a close rapport with them in your absence. I want them to enjoy their time with me as much as possible and believe that this will only happen if they feel completely relaxed and at ease in my company. To help develop this relationship, I provide all new clients with a free 30-40 minute initial consultation with any dog walking or pet sitting bookings made. During the consultation I will gather as much information as possible, by discussing your pets' needs with you and analysing their behaviour in my presence. Once you are entirely happy, we then fill out a pet profile. This gives me the opportunity to find out more about your pet, its needs, likes and dislikes etc., enabling me to care for your pet as you would wish. It also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions in relation to the services I offer. I am based in Laindon, Essex and cover surrounding areas. I have studied online courses and passed in
- Veterinary Nursing Level 2.
- Veterinary Nursing Level 3.
- Animal Care Level 3.
- Pet First Aid And CPR. . Thank you and I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies

☀️🐾 HOT WEATHER WARNING FOR ALL PET OWNERS 🐾☀️

With temperatures rising this week, please remember that the heat can be dangerous for our animals — not just dogs, but cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and other small pets too.

🐶 DOGS:

• Walk early morning or later in the evening when it’s cooler
• Always check the pavement with your hand — if it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for their paws
• Make sure they have constant access to fresh, cool water
• Cooling mats, damp towels and shaded areas can really help
• Never leave dogs in cars, even for a few minutes.

🐰 SMALL ANIMALS:

• Keep hutches and cages out of direct sunlight
• Frozen water bottles wrapped in towels can help keep them cool
• Ensure plenty of airflow and fresh water at all times

🐱 CATS:

• Cats often hide when they’re too hot, so make sure they have shaded, cool spaces indoors or outdoors
• Refresh water bowls regularly throughout the day

⚠️ Signs of heatstroke can include:

Heavy panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, wobbling or collapse.
If you notice these signs, move your pet somewhere cool immediately and contact your vet.

A little extra care during hot weather can make a huge difference. 💛

Keep your pets cool, comfortable and well hydrated during the heatwave — they’ll thank you for it 🐾☀️

🐾 Today is National Dog Rescue Day 🐾

When we rescued Mr. Shelby, previously known as Sherlock, from the Dogs Trust in 2019 when he was 3 years old, we never imagined just how much he would change our lives.

What started as “giving a dog a second chance” quickly became one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. Mr Shelby brought so much love, laughter, comfort, and happiness into our home from the very beginning. Rescue dogs may come with a past, but they also come with the biggest hearts and endless love to give.

Every single day with him is a new adventure. Whether we’re exploring new places together, going for walks, or simply curled up on the sofa having cuddles, he makes even the smallest moments feel special. He’s not just a dog — he’s family, my best friend, and truly the heart of our home.

I know rescuing a dog isn’t always suitable for everyone, and that’s completely okay.
But if you are able to rescue, there are so many amazing dogs out there waiting for a second chance, a safe home, and simply to be loved. 🐾

Rescuing a dog doesn’t just change their life… it changes yours too.

Thank you for choosing us, Mr Shelby 🐾

Just a little update following my recent hospital appointment with my consultant.

She said that the bone is now showing signs of regenerating and growing back, which is really positive after the amount of damage caused by the infection.

The earlier X-rays from January show a very dark hollow-looking area in the bone where the infection had caused severe bone loss and damage to the joint.
Healthy bone normally appears much whiter on an X-ray, so the darker “hole” appearance was caused by the infection destroying part of the bone and surrounding joint.

The newer X-ray which was taken last week is now showing signs of bone regrowth and regeneration around that damaged area.
Although there is still significant permanent damage to the joint itself and only very limited movement remaining in the finger, there is now more bone formation visible compared to before, showing that the finger is attempting to heal and stabilise itself.

However, the consultant explained that the amount of bone regrowth is not yet as much as they would ideally like to see at this stage.
At the moment, I’ll continue having regular X-rays over the next 2-3 months so they can closely monitor the healing and make sure the bone continues regenerating properly.

Surgery will still be needed regardless, but the consultant wants to allow more healing before moving forward with the final surgical plan.

The likely option discussed involves re-breaking and repositioning the bone into a better alignment before potentially fusing the tip joint to stabilise the finger long term, as the finger is currently bent in a position that makes it difficult to use my hand properly for everyday tasks.

Thank you again to everyone for all the support, kindness and patience while I continue navigating this recovery journey. I truly appreciate all the messages, understanding and continued support more than you know.

Unfortunately, I still don’t yet have a timeline for when I’ll be able to return to work, as there are still ongoing appointments, monitoring and surgery ahead.

I’ll continue to keep everyone updated as things progress over the coming months. 🐾

Hi everyone,

Just a little update — my original appointment on 16th April was cancelled, but I now have a new one booked for the 7th May to discuss surgery options.

At the moment, it’s looking like my options may be quite limited. From previous discussions, fusing my finger straight might be the only option due to the infection causing damage to the bone.

I’ll keep you all updated as soon as I know more.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding

A beautiful day out at Farmer Scott’s Tulip Farm with Mr Shelby 🌷🐾

He absolutely loved exploring the vibrant colours, sniffing all the gorgeous flowers, and soaking up the fresh countryside air.

Days like this are what it’s all about—happy Mr Shelby, new adventures, and plenty of tail wags along the way 🐾

I can’t wait to get back out there with all your lovely doggies and start our adventures together 🐶

Just a little update—I’m still waiting to see my consultant to find out what operation I’ll be having, but I’ll be back as soon as I can.

Thank you so much for your patience and support, it really means a lot 💕
