🎆🐾 FIREWORKS SEASON IS HERE! 🐾🎆

Fireworks can be frightening for our furry friends, but there are a few things we can do to help them feel safe and secure. ❤️

🐶 For our dogs:

🏡 Create a cosy, safe hiding place at home.
🎵 Close windows and curtains, and put the TV or music on to help muffle the noise.
🐾 Keep them indoors during fireworks and make sure their microchip details are up to date.

🐱 For our cats:
🐾 Keep them indoors with access to their favourite hiding spots.
🍽️ Make sure they have access to food, fresh water and a clean litter tray.
❤️ Give them space and comfort if they need it.

🐰 Don’t forget our small furries! Rabbits and guinea pigs can be frightened too. Provide plenty of bedding and hiding places, and consider bringing outdoor hutches into a sheltered, secure area where possible.

💙 Is your pet particularly anxious? Speak to us in advance about ways to help them cope with fireworks.

Let’s make fireworks season as stress-free as possible for our four-legged family members! 🐾❤️

🦜 A lovely cockatiel came to visit us for a beak trim! 💛

Overgrown beaks can make it difficult for birds to eat, climb and preen properly, so regular health checks are important to keep them happy and comfortable.

Our little patient was an absolute star and is now feeling much more comfortable with his freshly trimmed beak. 🥰
