After hearing about some upsetting treatment of dogs locally today, I just want to say this:

Kindness should always come first when working with animals.

There is never a need for fear, force or cruelty in dog care or handling, and it’s so important that we continue advocating for compassionate, ethical treatment for our dogs. Yanking a dog around on a grot collar, hanging them, hitting them on the nose, or using pain to control behaviour should never be normalised - especially not by people trusted to care for dogs professionally.

After all, they never chose to belong to us - we chose them.

Let’s be the kind of community our dogs deserve, Knutsford ❤️

How sad. Unfortunately there's been a rise in negative/punishment based methods being implemented on dogs in Knutsford. I'm always happy to share my qualifications upon request. Let's be kind to our dogs, after all they never chose to be owned by us; we chose them 🙏🏻❤️
