Some nice training sessions with Pippa and owners Paul & Dawn. Pippa is a wee rescue dog who suffers from anxiousness. Sessions involved working on separation anxiety and reactiveness all linked with over anxiousness. In situations like this you need to adapt to the dogs behaviours and work with them. It’s been great seeing Pippa’s progress and will be continued work to make her more at ease.

Couple of good but different training sessions.
First with Mylo 4 month old Cockapoo and owner Graeme, where we covered puppy general obedience exercises

Then the second with Willow the Staffy who is 2yrs old and owner Linda where we focussed on recall and reactivity.

It’s been great carrying out training sessions with Cody the 2yr old staffy and Tiffany owner. Tiffany rehomed Cody and has been making great progress. Our sessions have been focussed on heel work, recall and lots of reactivity issues. Reactivity takes time and patience to correct and I’m sure Tiffany will continue to work on the techniques taught to give Cody a better quality of life 😀🐶

Great training session yesterday with wee Gizmo and owner Clare and Duncan. We focussed on reactivity around other dogs....

Great training session yesterday with wee Gizmo and owner Clare and Duncan. We focussed on reactivity around other dogs. When trying correct reactivity it’s a slow process and so important to understand the main triggers and not rush it. Gizmo done fantastic recalling away from dogs when told with no noise and I know Clare and Duncan will continue to work with him using the techniques we practiced
