We have had another fantastic weekend at Errol, this time hosted by Prestwick Flyball. Congratulations on hosting for the first time, we had a fab time! 👏

Thank you for our gifts for judging, measuring and box loading! 🥰

We had originally planned to run 3 open teams however a few unexpected changes left us down to 2 teams - which was a bit of a mix up of our usual 3 💪🏻 and a little short on hands so we didn’t get much in the way of media 😂

First up, we had Buddies in Div 2 coming home 4th place 👏 Izzy, Max, Baxter, Woody and Dobby ran really well together all day and luckily we got the sunnier day for little Dobs! ☀️ With the changes in teams it meant a little shake up of usual running order but handlers and dogs took any changes in their stride and had plenty of clean runs! 🥳

Next up, we had Clan in Div 1 coming home with a 2nd place 🥈 Ava, Mac, Yeager, Jura and Ruby also ran really well together even though they got the rain 😂 Again it meant a little shake up for these guys too with Mac coming back into Clan and Ruby joining too but they also took all changes in their stride and adjusted well! 👏 Plenty of clean runs and some nice times on the board against some really quick teams! 💪🏻

And last to go was Cubs with Jack and Zip, who came home with 4th place 🎉 Both the boys had a brilliant day in the lanes, with only one fault each all day - that’s what we call consistency 💪🏻 Both boys were really on fire with great turns and clean runs! ❤️

To round off our weekend, we saw little Peggy get her 1,000 points award and Martin helped Prestwick by box loading and they went on to win Division 3 🏆👏

Next up, Lomond at Errol in September! We are looking forward to it already! 💙

A huge congratulations to Wade Jayne and Peggy who were presented with her Flyball Dog, 1,000 points award today at Errol after gaining this at…. The Outdoor Champs 😉🤣

Peggy really has hit the ground running in open, she has become a solid height dog for our Clan Team and even helped the team to the Divisional Win at the Champs recently 🥳🥰

She is an absolute superstar and really couldn’t have had a better start to her Open Flyball Career - which is credit to all Jayne’s hard work and their lovely bond! ❤️

We have absolutely no doubt this will be the first of many awards for this girl! 🖤

Amazing Flyball Community doing its thing! 👏

We feel amazing doing this! However, the amazing people are those that donated and bought a ticket for the raffle, not forgetting Scott Harrison who will remain a legend in our eyes as will everyone else who assisted us after Crufts.

Back to Training today after a well earned rest week to recover from the Champs 🤣

However, the rest doesn’t last long as we get ready to head to Errol next weekend for Prestwicks Show 🎉

🔸Foundation Cubs - Zip and Jack
Both working on running with other dogs around and both staying focused and handling this well! Jack doing plenty box work to try and maintain that turn even when a ball is there 👏

🔸Puppy - Nyx
Slowly increasing how much she gets to do as she get a little bit older, doing a few more run backs with dogs in the other lane - straight back to Alison for Tuggy and not even a blink about another dog being there! 💪🏻

🔸Teams
- Buddies - Yeager, Mac, Baxter and Max
- Clan - Jura, Ava and Peggy
- Cruisers - Izzy, Ruby, Woody and Dobby

All teams had a final chance to have a few runs together and practise changes! Jura doing a bit of box work to help control that turn and Max getting some extra runs as a stooge for Jack, Zip and Nyx 🖤

Yesterday Clatto lost one of it’s most loyal cheerleaders Roxy. Although she never ran in the team, she supported our members on their adventures up and down the country.

For a Rottweiler Roxy was incredibly laid back and would trott up to anybody for a butt scratch. Personal space was never a concept that Roxy believe in and would often Plonk herself down on your lap if the opportunity arose and just sat there as if it were the norm.

She was a great mentor for young dogs, politely putting them in their place if they got too boisterous, one gruff from Roxy is all that it would take to make them behave.

Resistance was pointless if you had treats, she’d always perswade you to give her a bit with her ‘Aw what you got there, can I have a bit’ eyes which she had perfected over the years

Our thoughts are with Katie and Martin at this sad time, you gave her a life time of adventures and love and made many memories together.

RIP Roxy one in a Million ❤️
