Hot Weather Notice ☀️🐾
With temperatures rising, I may need to reschedule appointments at short notice if needed. Dog welfare always comes first, so if I feel the heat is becoming too much for any dog, appointments may need to be moved around last minute. I’ll be keeping a close eye on temperatures during these hot summer days and throughout summer in general.
Thankfully the salon is usually cool, but with the blaster dryers running, limited airflow, and the added stress some dogs feel during the grooming process, it can become a bit too much and increase their temperature more quickly.
If at any point I feel a dog is struggling with the heat, grooming will be stopped and I’ll contact you straight away to arrange collection.
‼️Please do not walk your dogs in this hot weather, keep walks to very early morning or late at night. If you feel the pavement and it’s warm or even burning on your hand, it’s also going to burn your wee dogs paws and cause them to overheat extremely fast! so please be sensible during this weather‼️
