Do they need alot of exercise?🦮
The amount of people I come across that says they must need alot of exercise. No they don't they are happy with a couple small walks a day. They spend the majority of time in their beds or in my case the couch. They have spent their lifes racing and once adopted are happy lounging about.😴

What do they eat? 🥩
We can advise on your choice of dry,wet or raw.

Can they get treats?🍪
Yes they love treats, bones, sardines the list goes on.

Can they live with other dogs?🐶🐕
Yes pending careful introductions. We encourage all interested homes to go on several walks with their chosen greyhound and other dogs. This allows them to meet in neutral settings.

Can they live with cats?🐈
Unfortunately we are not in a position to test them with cats and other small furies.

What are their temperments?
Greyhounds are generally calm,loyal dogs with loving personalities.

As you will all know by now we like to keep ourselves busy and have something to look forward to. Please join us on 28th September 13.00 at the Howard Park in Kilmarnock for the Global Great Greyhound Walk. The meeting point will be on the large grassy area beside the park. The park is tarmacked and suitable for wheel chairs and all abilities. There is plenty parking at Tesco and Mclelland Drive Kilmarnock. This is open to all sighthounds. The theme this year is love lets see how creative you can get. ❤️Hopefully see you all there. Robyn Murray

What a day thank you to everyone for donating gifts and for attending our 1st Greyhound Party at Emilymill Greyhounds. We had some turnout and amazing to see how well all the dogs are doing. Pictures will be attached soon.
