Weighing in at over 1Kg even though they are not 2 weeks old yet, these are chunky, cuddly bundles of love and fun. The next 2 weeks will see massive growth and developmental change and I'll be doing some ENS with them. We want resilient puppies.

Thank you to Alfie's Leads a local company who made and donated the puppy strings for us last year- they gave us 2 sets and we hung onto these ones just incase we decided to have another litter. They make collars, leads, toys etc and I'll be including these in my puppy packs again.

The pups will be looking for their furever mums n dads around the beginning of October.

PUPPY SPAM!!!!

Can't believe they are a week old already!

Can't believe they are only a week old.

They are so much bigger than the previous litter. They have doubled their body weight and are around the 1kg mark already! Greedy little feckers!

Will be weighing them later today and possibly trimming their nails before mum starts getting annoyed.

So while Scott and I are on this weird shift (puppy watch) which involves roughly 5 hour shifts to sleep, meanung that I was up and in the shower to let Scott get some sleep, at 4.30 am!, I have picked up my British College of Canine Studies Course again.

I have just submitted Essay No 8 which has been written, rewritten and re-written again! Let's hope I have not misinterpreted the question (I have previous for that!)

Fascinating stuff though, on Dominance Theory and how Trainers and Owners have worked with dogs based on theories which have now been debunked and disproven!

The challenge continues.

1) Look I can fit in here! Monte curling up into a wee ball to squeeze into the puppy overflow bed. (Needed for cleaning out whelping box and giving Cassi) a break.
2) Puppies decanted whilst whelping box getting cleaned and mum watching over them. Dad (Monte) has got her back! Always!
