As i’ve had some new clients recently, i don’t think i’ve actually told the story behind my dog walking business and why i started it.
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit about what inspired me to start my dog walking business.
My journey began with my own dog, Jipsey.
Jipsey is a reactive dog, both people and other dogs (although she LOVES the boys) and through our own journey I developed a genuine understanding of the challenges that can come with having a reactive or anxious dog. From carefully planning walks and managing triggers, to recognising when she needs space and knowing when to change our plans, Jipsey has taught me the importance of patience, understanding and adapting to each individual dog and most importantly not to judge them.
That experience is one of the main reasons I decided to start my own dog walking and pet care business.
I understand that every dog is different. Some are confident and sociable, while others may be nervous, reactive, elderly, have additional needs, or simply prefer their own space. My aim is to provide reliable, compassionate and personalised care that puts each dog’s individual needs first.
I want owners to have complete peace of mind knowing that their pets are being cared for by someone who genuinely understands that a successful walk isn’t always about how far you go — sometimes it’s about having a calm, positive experience and returning home happy. 🐶
Jipsey has been a huge part of my journey, and without her, I don’t think I would have found the motivation to turn my love of animals into something I’m so passionate about
