Grooming Oscar is always something I look forward to 🤩🐻

I have been grooming him for a couple years now and although he can still be a little bit nervous on drop off, he soon warms up once he settles in 💗

His coat has changed since I first groomed him so I do have to work a little bit harder to get the right prep and finish on him, but he just comes out so cute in the end 🥹

I have been SO busy these past few weeks which has ultimately meant I have neglected posting again 🫣

I am filling up quickly for appointments in May and June, so if you haven’t rebooked at your last appointment, I would recommend booking ahead so you can stay on schedule. I am planning to go away around the end of July-beginning of August so there may have to be a bit of moving around with appointments ! 🛫🏝️

My very first attempt at a princess head!!🫣

This is a groom I’ve been dying to attempt for so long but never had to chance to try. There are definitely areas to improve that I can see straight away and some areas need to grow in (his muzzle and feet) to support the overall shape but I’m happy I gave it a go!

The handsome Aki is very blessed in the fact that he had a LOT of coat and had always been in a show coat, so I was in for a bit of a challenge to reshape! But being a former show dog (a champion in fact!) he knew exactly how to stand and did so unbelievably well whilst I faffed around for god knows how long 🙈

But overall I’m happy to have challenged my abilities and try something new, and very excited to see where I can go with a bit more practice and a rewatch of webinar and a proper read through of the notes I took at .dog.grooming seminar☺️

It’s deshed season!! 🫣

If you’ve noticed your dog is extra hairy lately, you’re not imagining it. As the seasons change, their coat sheds the winter coat to make way for a lighter, fresher coat for summer.

Regular brushing and a professional deshed can make a huge difference, less hair around the house and a much more comfortable pup! 🐶
