Yes, I know it’s only summer, but bookings at Love to Paws are now being taken right up to Christmas—and I don’t want anyone to miss out!

As a one-woman show with a fully booked diary week to week, spaces are very limited—especially in the run up to the festive season. If you know you’ll want your dog looking and feeling their best between now and then, now’s the time to get organised.

Want your regular slot? Hoping for a Christmas tidy up? Planning ahead is your best friend! Multiple bookings are welcome (and encouraged!) to make sure you don’t miss out.

As many of you know, I’m a proud one-woman business, and I pour my heart into caring for your pets every single day.

To keep things fair and running smoothly, I want to gently remind you of my cancellation & no-show policy:

✨ Cancellations or adaptations to services made within 72 hours of your appointment day will be charged in full.

✨ No-shows are also charged in full.

✨ Full payment for grooming services is due at collection of your dog. No exceptions.

Every slot is carefully planned in advance and the slot is saved for you. When one is missed or cancelled last minute, it’s tough to fill and has a real impact on my small business.

Please also know: I will NOT tolerate any abuse or rudeness in response to these policies being upheld. Kindness and respect go both ways.

Today, I’m holding space for all the beautiful souls who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. Each wag of a tail, every wet nose nuzzle, and all those quiet, gentle moments leave an indelible mark on our hearts forever.

Though they no longer walk beside us, their love, loyalty, and unique little quirks live on in our memories—and in the way we care for the furry friends who are still with us. 💕

Today is all about them—our loyal, loving, tail-wagging best friends who bring so much joy into our lives. Whether they’re bounding through fields, snoozing on the sofa, or giving you that look for just one more treat, dogs make life that bit brighter.

Marnie and I are sending big love to every single dog we’ve had the pleasure of pampering at Love to Paws—you’re all stars in our eyes.

Wishing you all the happiest August Bank Holiday! Whether you're heading off on an adventure, enjoying a cosy day at home, or simply taking a moment to slow down—I hope it's filled with love, laughter and plenty of wagging tails.

This weekend is all about making memories, spending time together and maybe sneaking in a few extra treats for the dogs (as if they’re not spoilt enough already!).

Just a little reminder that Love to Paws is now closed for a well-earned break and will reopen on Monday 1st September.

Marnie and I are taking some precious time out together this week—recharging, relaxing and enjoying some long overdue cuddles and calm.

📩 I won’t be replying to messages during this time, but rest assured I’ll get back to everyone as soon as we return.

💜🐾 International Blind Dog Day – Celebrating Courage on Four Paws 🐾💜

Today we celebrate the incredible resilience, spirit and love of blind dogs everywhere. Whether born without sight or having lost it along the way, these amazing dogs remind us daily that ability isn’t everything—attitude is.

At Love to Paws, I’ve been lucky to meet some wonderful dogs with visual impairments, and they’ve shown me just how much trust, adaptability and pure joy they bring to life. With the right support, understanding and gentle handling, they flourish.

Grooming blind dogs is all about:

– Building trust slowly and calmly
– Using consistent cues, voice and touch
– Creating a safe, relaxed environment

Blind dogs may not see with their eyes, but they see the world with their hearts—and I’m always honoured to be part of their journey 💜

✨🐾 What an Incredible End to the Week at Love to Paws 🐾✨

Today was all about pampering and spa magic for three very special pups:

🌟 The awesome Dusty, looking fabulous after her pamper.
🌟 Gentle Gigi, in for her very first visit – welcome to the Love to Paws family, beautiful girl! 💜
🌟 And the utterly adorable Alfie, who was preparing his look for his Mummy & Daddy’s upcoming wedding – only the best will do for such a special day! 💍🐾

It’s been an amazing week in the salon, filled with wagging tails, fresh cuts, sparkling smiles and plenty of cuddles. Now it’s time for Marnie and I to enjoy a week-long break.

What a day in the salon! 💜

🐕 The incredibly handsome Rupert kicked things off with a massive deshed, spa and teeth clean – honestly, it looked like it was snowing in the salon! ❄️😂

🌸 Next up, the beautiful Maisie came in for her regular pamper and teeth clean – she was an absolute superstar from start to finish.

🐾 And to round off the day, the gorgeous Stanley enjoyed his pamper, spa, and sparkling teeth clean too.

It’s been a day filled with fresh haircuts, sparkling smiles, wagging tails and plenty of cuddles. 🐶💜

Next week, Love to Paws will be pressing paws as Marnie and I take a well-deserved break to recharge, reset, and spend some quality time together. The salon will be closed from Monday 25th August and I’ll be back (with a full biscuit jar and fresh energy!) ready for a fabulous September.
