Oh how I love running into old clients of mine! This is gorgeous Connie who joined my puppy classes back in 2015!! Even after all these years she still runs up to me with a tail wag ready for a cuddle whenever I happen to run into her ❤️ today she helped us teach her younger lab friend Coco how to greet politely and focus on her owner, even if the world is just too exciting to sit still!! Thank you Connie, I’m already looking forward to my next snuggle!

A big day for Wullie!
Wullie the Bernadoodle, already quite the sizable chap, had his first training session in town this week and took it all in his stride. I have the privilege of being his trainer, and I daresay Bernadoodles may well be the breed of the year. A lovely companion in the making.

Watch Pixie make eye contact and wait for her release cue when I drop a treat (even with other distractions in the background 🎶) this is only one example of impulse control. If you have joined one of my classes or private training sessions you have most certainly heard me talk about this concept! It is hands down one of the most important life skills to teach your dog early on! 🐶 Teaching your pup how to control their impulses helps prevent unwanted behaviours like jumping up, snatching food, or pulling on the lead. When your dog learns to pause, think, and make better choices, it makes daily life so much easier and more enjoyable for both of you. Whether it’s waiting for their food or walking calmly by your side, impulse control lays the foundation for a well-mannered, happy dog. Start early, and you’ll set your pup up for success! ✨🐾
