Looking for the perfect NH home for this lovely mare!
New forest x trakehner approx 14hh , 9 year old mare by ‘Grafenstolz’ ( Trakehner stallion of the year 2016) out of a successful forest mare.
Absolutely cracking little mare. Bold as brass and loves to work- begs to be caught! She is an old head on young shoulders. Takes everything in her stride and has never bolted, reared, bucked and generally not spooky. Has had the occasional small spook but under forgivable circumstances!
Would excel in any discipline with the right person. All the lovely features of a new forest but the sport edition 😉
Has basic understanding of maneuvers including turn on forehand, turn on haunches, leg yield, side pass and shoulder in/haunches in
She has been in and out of work over the past few years due to lack of time. Was used as a brood mare in 2020 and successfully produced a fantastic c**t.
I have ridden her in school recently and she has been coming along nicely.
She can be defensive and has bitten before but if you know her and can read her you will be fine!
I believe she didn’t have the best start in life!
She can also been a bit resistant when you first get on but soon works out of it.
Not suited to someone who is heavy with hands or legs and thrives with NH or positive reinforcement methods.
Selling due to lack of time and space (she is also too small for me).
