Sophie & Bubble finished a creditable 5th in the “Injured Jockeys Fund for Graham Lee Charity Race” they were just pipped for a podium finish! 😃

Thanks to Rhys Elliott for stepping in to do the leading up, we think Sophie preferred it this way around 😂

There is still plenty of time to donate, so dig deep for this worthy cause!

It's Nathan Mill's 25th birthday and he's just had his first winner under rules with Due Respect, ridden by Rhys Elliott, in our fifth race.
Nathan owns the filly in partnership with Jedburgh trainer Gary Rutherford Racing .
Rhys used to ride for Nathan on the flapping tracks before he got his licence.
"I'm ecstatic to see how well Rhys has done since then - I couldn't have anyone better riding my first winner under rules on my birthday."
Gary added: "She's been unlucky and was due a win. We picked her up fairly cheaply and she's had three seconds and now a win in six runs."
Nathan is a tree surgeon so you might say he came, he sawed, he conquered!

The whole team here at Gary Rutherford Racing are devastated at loosing Rebecca’s Girl at Carlisle Racecourse today.

In the 19 runs she had since joining the yard last year, she only finished out of the frame 4 times, giving her owners some super day and nights, and providing Gary with his first winner as a sole trainer, but above all else she was a lovely girl to have around and will be deeply missed by all who knew her 💛🖤🪽

Good morning from Ayr Racecourse, travelling buddies “On The Bubble” and “Due Respect” have recovered from their good runs yesterday 5th and🥈. “Due Respect” goes again today, hopefully she can go one better in the 4.05🤞🙏
