"I have used this site now few times Lucy and Matt always make you welcome find time to speak to you. It is nice well kept site amazing walks you can do different walk every day information boards on fence posts worth reading explaining all about farm and wild life view fantastic from van jedburgh five mins drive if you want to go out for meal they do their own lamb chops and burgers good value taste amazing I use cl sites all time got to be best for walks every day different will go back spring summer autumn so piece full I would like to nominate this for cl of the year"

Another great review - always brings a smile to our faces!
"Great site for some R&R. We stopped off here at the end of our long tour just to chill. We knew the area so it was a relaxing 3 days. We also worked out that using our solar and gas our van only used 5kwh a day to run the fridge freezer. You get 10kwh per day free. Great stop over heading north or south on the A68".

"Another perfect stay.
Been coming back to this cl for a number of years now. A fantastic location close to Jedburgh and all it's facilities but more than that a peaceful site with views to the England Scotland border across the Jed valley. There are walks from the site on the working farm and the owners are very knowledgeable about the local area. Oh, they also sell lamb from the farm which is lovely and the barbeque. Overall a great cl"

"We are very lucky to have stayed in such a lovely spot for 1 night. It was a last minute booking in the height of the season, but communication was excellent from Bairnkine. It was easy to find, our name was written on a welcome board and we were sent directions, things to do and a receipt prior to arriving. The site has 5 pitches, all hardstanding and level overlooking the countryside. Jedburgh, is a very short 5 minute drive away and there are plenty of walks from the campsite if you have a dog. Electric hook up was easy to connect and all other services were opposite the pitches. After chatting to a couple of other vans on site, I can certainly see why they decided to come for 7 days or more."
