Hi everyone,

It’s been a little quiet on socials recently,
We’ve had 2 weeks of a heatwave which has caused nothing but disruption to services and sadly my van finally gave up on us Thursday morning & is sadly beyond repairs.

A new van is on the horizon, we just need to find it and make sure it’s the best of the best for all our beautiful fur babies.

I appreciate this is now a 3rd week of upside down and inside out services & I am extremely grateful to those who have shown great understanding & flexibility during this time.
I would be lying to say I’m not stressed, I just want to give you all the best I can- but it seems life is out to test me at the moment..

Normality will resume ASAP, but for now let’s ride the bumpy waves together, try and squeeze a few walks and stay & plays where possible..

Heatwave Take 2 🎬

Thank you to those who have been kind & accommodating this week & sorry to those who have been let down and for any inconvenience caused.

The health & safety of the pups is paramount & alternatives will and are always offered 👍🏼

With this week , we have trialled some early morning woodland walks with some of my more experienced / regular pups and have been great. So depending on time where and possible this may well become an available option for as and when the heat continues.
I must say this has only been an option thanks to the huge help of for getting up early with me and helping where possible.

I’ve also only just managed to get a few early morning paddocks by the skin of my teeth so it has been a very mismatched, upside down week!

For those that didn’t have woodland walks we have had our stay and plays which are always a hit, especially if there’s cuddles , find and sniff games, snuffle mats, frozen licky mats available!

Thanks again to those who have really helped and supported this week, you know who you are 🐾💕

Weekly round up ☀️🐾

Well that was a beautiful week! We’ve welcomed some new pups to the family: Stan & Frank and welcomed back one of my original pups Ted 🫶🏽

I know towards the end of the week sessions had to be altered and it’s looking like a hot one again next week so please bare with me as I’m going to try and sort some super early sessions if and where possible if not it will be stay & plays 🤞🏼🙌🏼

Moments like this I will forever cherish and tear up at 🥹

We welcomed Stan to our paddock play yesterday afternoon- and he fitted in beautifully 🙌🏼
Not only that, Loki welcomed him into his space & shared these wonderful playtime moments with Stan.

That’s what paddock plays are about, giving pups the chance to play & socialise in a safe, secure environment. Out and about isn’t always suited to every dog, and they wouldn’t always get the chance to have these interactions.

Happy dogs, happy customers, happy Chlo.

Loki and I attended a Plymouth Dachshund meet this morning down at Mount Batten 🌊🐾🌭

This is the 3rd one I’ve organised so far and will be continuing to do so 🙌🏽

It’s completely separate to the business, and merely an opportunity for other dachshund owners to meet & connect- of course for the pups to socialise with their own kind 🐾🫶🏽
