A busy day today topped off by having a play over some jumps with my own youngster for the first time in a while. I love the horse she’s turning into, I believe in slow and steady and in her case it’s definitely proving to be the right decision. Super pleased with her.

A bit of a soggy day for riding today but despite that Rio and I managed a nice canter in between the showers. It was the second ride for Rio this week so we decided to have some fun and get off the roads for a while 🚀

It’s been a busy few days. Here are some photos from yesterday, what a gorgeous day for hacking and what wonderful customers to hack on. Charlie and Jack were both delightful, looking forward to schooling Jack next week.

Charlie is a lovely ex show jumper who experienced a leg injury and is now slowly coming back into work so we are currently building muscle to strengthen his hind leg.

Jack is a Welsh C who I’m exercising for his little rider whilst she’s at school throughout the week, he is a little pocket rocket.

Busy morning with yard duties followed by a full clip including legs and face off. It is the first time I have clipped Joey and what a seasoned professional he is, stood solid as a rock. Joey isn’t keen on having his back legs clipped as he gets sore so I took my time and clipped in the direction of hair growth not against to avoid any soreness. He was a perfect customer😍
