I did think about giving poor Buddy a break from Orlaith and her play demands today but good for him, she tried and he was having none of it. So a longish but gentle walk. Plenty of stops for sniffing and chomping sticks, lots of cuddles and a splash or two with another watery snuffle hunt for treats.

Apologies if any of this bunch came back smelly today. They all had a good roll but when I looked I couldn't see anything obvious and none of them failed the sniff test. However my nose is accustomed to living with two golden retrievers which I think leaves me with olfactory fatigue. We did have a bobbing for treats session in the river at the end of the walk. 💦

The weather does feel a little bit like our walks at the moment. One step forward and half a slide backwards. However the quick skid downhill makes up for the slipperiness uphill. And the blue sky and warmth in the sun makes up for the heavy showers. 💩😎☀️☔
