Had a really good day judge training at Hartpury with Sara- Jane Lanning Elementary and Medium. A long drive there and back but well worth it. Judged the horse trials at Bicton on Sunday.

❄ WINTER AREA FESTIVAL QUALIFICATION IS NOW OPEN ❄

The winter qualification period runs between 1 July - 31 December. From Prelim to Advance Medium you need three scores at 63% or above (scores to be from one section) & for Prix St George and Inter I you need two scores at 60% or above (scores to be from one section)!

I had a really busy week judging, 4 different venues everything from a little reluctant pony to some super dressage riders and horses. Judging is always interesting and challenging. I am taking bookings for coaching the weekend 12th and 13th July. Test practice dressage to music, flatwork for jumping polework and working on jumping technique. You don't need a flash horse for dressage if you can walk and trot. Why not give it a go. Flatwork/dressage benefits all riders. £45 private lesson 2 together £30 each. New clients half hour assessment £25. 20 x 60 arena. Easy access 1/2 mile from Endsleigh Garden Centre. Quiet private yard. If you interested any queries don't hesitate to message.

Outdoor Arena News!

Our outdoor arena will be resurfaced and re-open for bookings from Monday 14th July!

The last two events in our Unaffiliated League will take place on Thursday 17th July and Tuesday 22nd July and we will jump outside. In between times the course will be left out and available for hire - £30 per hour (no extra charge per horse). It will be available 8am to 8pm from Friday 18th July to lunchtime on Tuesday 22nd July.

Booking are open now on My Riding Life. Entries for the last two Show Jumping events are also now reopen on Horse Monkey.

Really enjoyed being back judging at the dressage festival today at Duchy College. It was lovely to see everyone, a really friendly atmosphere. It was very well run by Nicky Bull as usual. Thanks for the fab lunch. I am looking forward to writing for Clare tomorrow.

Really good days training at Hartpury. You never stop learning in this job. Good trip up, great company. Very comfortable hotel and lovely food. Looking forward to getting back and putting into practice what I have learnt.
