We have an exciting summer planned at Lucy Butt Equine Behaviourist!

These are groundwork based events which are designed to be relaxed and supportive to allow you and your horse to adjust to a new environment and novel objects in a safe and positive way. We will be incorporating positive reinforcement and desensitisation techniques to help our horses feel more confident in new situations.

£5 per extra horse.

**Looking for a full time groom/yard person.**

Sadly one of our full time girls is leaving us to go off on her travels, so we are searching for another full time member of staff. To start mid August.

Duties include -

-Mucking out.
-Turning out and brining in.
-Grooming.
-Some riding/hacking/exercising for the right person.
-Tack cleaning.
-Poo picking/ragwort pulling.
-Maintaining a clean/tidy yard.
-Arena maintenance.

We are looking for someone with attention to detail, who is able to spot any illnesses and/or injuries and report to the yard manager. Someone that is experienced and trustworthy is a must, as the candidate will need to be left in charge when the yard manager is off.

We are a very friendly, happy team with a lovely bunch of liveries, so we are looking for the right person to fit in, who is keen, motivated and reliable!

5 days a week - to include 1 weekend day.
Hours 8am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch.

🥳We’re delighted to announce that 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐢𝐞𝐫 has been chosen as May’s Spotlight Award winner. As part of his award, Harry wins a uvex equestrian exxential III riding helmet, courtesy of Zebra Products .

PART TIME GROOM

We are looking for a reliable hard working person to join our small established team on a part time basis.

Daily tasks are;
-Turning out/ bringing in.
-Mucking out -19 stables split evenly between the team.
-Feeding
-Rug changes
-Poo picking (using gator)
-Keeping yard clean and tidy.
-Ability to spot illness and injuries, reporting and dealing with appropriately.

This role is for 3 days per week including one weekend day, but this can be split into just mornings if needed.
Full days hours are :- 8am-5pm
Half day hours are:- 8am-12.30pm

Candidates would be able to work well in a small team as well as on their own when required. Candidates must be motivated, friendly and have good people skills.
