Happy International Dog Day 🤍🐾

Today feels a little more emotional for us as we remember our beautiful little Boo — the very special girl behind Boo’s Barking Bakery.

She was so much more than a pet. She was family, our little shadow, our inspiration and the reason this whole journey began. Her allergies were what first inspired us to start creating simple, wholesome treats, and from there Boo’s Barking Bakery was born.

We miss her little face, her huge personality and all of her funny ways more than words can say. There will always be a Boo-shaped space in our hearts. 🤍

So today, give your dogs an extra cuddle, an extra treat and tell them just how loved they are.

Happy International Dog Day, Boo. Forever our little girl and forever the heart behind our bakery. 🐾🤍

Well I can’t believe I’m talking about Christmas, I don’t want to wish away the warm days and lighter evenings, but it’s the busiest time of the year and I have to plan ahead.

Thank you to each and every one of you that came to see us at Aldeburgh Carnival over the last three days, supporting a small business means the world.
After a busy few days is when I appreciate the garden even more, to just chill and escape to the sounds of grasshoppers and owls with a cup of masala chai tea 🤣

I have next weekend off, but will be at Hadleigh this Friday then back at,
Sudbury Farmers market on Friday 28th August, Wyken Vineyards Saturday 29th August,
Lavenham Foodie Festival 30th August,
Bury Food and Drink Festival on Angel Hill 31st August 🐾💕

I can’t believe I am writing this yet again, but last Sunday I found our beautiful Poppet sleeping forever at home 💔 it was a complete shock and have found it so hard that I didn’t get to say goodbye 😢
We rescued her at 6 months old and she would have been 13 this year so not really old for a cat, but we don’t know her start in life only that she had kittens already at such a young age, she had a heart murmur which the last year had developed into a heart condition called HCM, she had specialist appointments with cardiology at the same referral centre our little Boo and Tootsie went to and she was in heart failure, but not the stage of needing heart medication, it was monitoring her and we always knew a blood clot or heart attack was a risk, but one you just try not to think about and hope for the best. She really changed when we lost Boo and Tootsie as it was always the three girls, she just wasn’t as settled. She had her checks and her thyroid levels checked as she also had hyperthyroidism and these were stable so I think a combination of missing the girls and her heart it was her time 💔 Just heartbreaking to lose three furbabies in 4 months and we rescued them all within 4 months of each other the same year when we lived in Wales, it’s just crazy. The only comfort I can take at the moment is our girls are back together again 🥹💕
