A day of firsts today for Texas, first time loading and travelling in a trailer for over two years, a huge thanks to Barry Thomas - Better Equine Training and the work he did earlier this year with Tex; and thank you to Georgie Louise for letting us travel in your stunning trailer, first time going to a fun ride at St Brides Bay Livery and first time going to a beach and in the sea! 🌊, I held on very tight for this bit! Texas was a very good boy the whole ride 🐴 the best morning with lovely company who looked after us, wonderful views and great fields to ride around. Thank you Lucy Lewis for running these brilliant events seriously good education and fun for younger horses.

Temporary grass livery available for 6 weeks, 10 acres near to Wolfscastle/Treffgarne

Whats included

Twice daily checks of your horses/ponies
Rug changes
Safe secure fencing/gates and plenty of natural shelter
Waters refilled daily
Daily updates if required
Additional forage can be put out if required.

Maximum 6 horses no stallions or colts. Please note I will be looking after your horses for the duration of their stay so visits by arrangement.

Sometimes the best schooling sessions are the unplanned ones, after a lovely hack out after work, we went into the arena to pop a fence and I am soo pleased at the improvement in his canter, as our canter in the arena is definitely still a work in progress.

A work trip to London today for a flying visit, I decided to get the train instead of driving as no way do I want to drive in London! 😆 anyway hours on the train does give me some thinking time, like alot of self employed businesses I have peaks and troughs, some weeks I have lots of bookings as well as my regular clients and other weeks much quieter, I've recently lost a couple of liveries for various reasons, so some user research required from horsey folk ! 🐴🐴, please take the time to list any equine/pet freelance services you would use that I dont currently offer, comment away and I look forward to reading later !

Consistency - something I am struggling with my own horses, some weeks I may ride 4-5 times and then dont ride at all the following week. I am trying to follow a plan with Texas, but inevitably clients horses and bookings and my actual job take priority and im too knackered to ride mine at the end of a long day. At the moment my working day including the horses is 7am - 8pm does anyone else struggle with this? I would love if you could comment with some helpful tips. Hopefully with the nice weather this weekend I can get back in the saddle 🌞🌞🐴🐴
