Consistency - something I am struggling with my own horses, some weeks I may ride 4-5 times and then dont ride at all the following week. I am trying to follow a plan with Texas, but inevitably clients horses and bookings and my actual job take priority and im too knackered to ride mine at the end of a long day. At the moment my working day including the horses is 7am - 8pm does anyone else struggle with this? I would love if you could comment with some helpful tips. Hopefully with the nice weather this weekend I can get back in the saddle 🌞🌞🐴🐴

Evening all, Like to introduce you all to Archie who is on schooling livery for four weeks at my yard. The owners have been fantastic and ensured he had all the health checks done, chiropractor, dentist, farrier, new saddle, wormed, and vet checked prior to arrival, Archies history is he is broken in and done very light hacking and now aged 6 is ready to start his education under saddle. Whilst with me so far he has been introduced to his new surroundings, long reining, schooling, hacking out with another horse and today we loaded up and headed to the beach for the very first time, he went in the sea, had a canter in the waves having another horse gave him confidence and it couldn't have gone any better what a good boy ❤️🐴

🐴maximum of six horses
🐴two health checks per day AM and PM
🐴Rug changes if required
🐴Fresh water daily
🐴Herd turnout
🐴 Daily updates if required
🐴Minimum one month booking

Only available until September

Not suitable for stallions or colts, laminitics or owners who want individual turnout, no feeds as horses all kept together, viewings welcome please note I will be responsible for your horses care during their stay.

I do hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend and enjoyed the sunny weather with your horses, very busy for me no easter eggs and lots of hard work, sunday I did get the chance to enjoy the Pembrokeshire Hunt Supporters Club Fun ride on a clients horse, the lovely Ellie who I ride weekly, and a lovely pony called Archie arrived at the yard on schooling livery for the next four weeks. A big week this week for Tex as I've booked the services of the brilliant Barry Thomas - Better Equine Training for some help with trailer training. Good Evening all, as horse owners do you worry/concerns about your horses stabled at night? One of my ponies Texas has Laminitis and is on weighed haynets I do worry about when he finishes his hay (what time) I've found the perfect solution, an indoor camera for the stables that doesnt require home Wifi. You download an app on your phone, the camera is amazing and gives me complete reassurance from a safety point of view that all is ok when I not at the yard. I also love being able to see my horses at night! ❤️. 🐴😍I will pop a link in the comments, let me know if you have any questions

Ps if your on a livery yard I,would recommend you speak to your yard owners. I rent this whole barn and have permission.

Morning everyone, I do hope you have been enjoying the recent sunny days with your horses, what a relief we have made it to spring ☀️ The good weather is set to continue ☀️☀️🐴🐴 so I will be starting up my offer of assisted hacks from Tuesday 7th April.

A brilliant 2 days of horses took some last minute leave from work, yesterday hacking up Plumstone and trail hunting today at Tufton on the lovely Max, the views were incredible, we are so lucky to enjoy stunning countryside on lovely horses. Another busy day tomorrow with 7 horses to do and an equine booking. 😍🐴😊
