We have loved watching our caterpillars grow and transform into beautiful butterflies! 🦋

After patiently waiting, it was finally time to release the butterflies into our garden. It was such a lovely experience to watch them take their first flight 🦋☺️

It’s been such a lovely learning experience and a wonderful way to appreciate the little creatures around us. 💕

The SPPOT team had an amazing time this afternoon at Pembrokeshire sport village athletics track! The guys enjoyed a variety of sports activities including rugby, football, running and the egg and spoon race! 🏉⚽

🌱GARDEN AND WILDLIFE PROJECT🌱

We then come into our most rewarding stage of our project! Harvesting and eating the produce we have grown!😁😁😁

After months of planning, planting and caring for our community garden it was time for us to enjoy our produce🫜🫛🍅🥕

We have also grown beautiful flowers and even sunflowers as tall Adam!! 🌻

This is only the beginning as we have so much more to grow!🍓🍅

🌱GARDEN AND WILDLIFE PROJECT🌱

Whilst we waited and waited for our community garden to grow we did some more projects at SPPOT...

A colourful wildflower meadow in our own garden which attracts so many butterflies and bumblebees🐝🦋

We made sure to keep busy by weeding the patio, which was not everyone's favourite project...🤣

SPPOT team watched the birds build a nest and then watched them bring food to the new chicks!🐦🐦‍⬛

The hedgehog food and water have always been full but unfortunately no visits from any spikey friends this year, we hope to have some new housemates soon🦔

We built a bug hotel in the community garden to help small animals and insects to give them a safe shelter to live in🕷️🪲A big thank you to Norman Industries for donating wood for the bug hotel 🤩

🌱GARDEN AND WILDLIFE PROJECT🌱

As we waited for our plants and flowers to grow we decided to install a beautiful wildlife pond!💧

Back came Sandy and his team to help install the pond in the front garden. We put it in the front so the dogs stay dry and the pond stays full! 😆🐾

We installed pond plants and barely straw to control the algae. So far we have spotted some pond skaters and we are looking forward to seeing what other wildlife will appear🦟
