Meet SPPOT's Olympian Ash! 🏅👏

This weekend Ash and his tag rugby team the Pembrokeshire Vikings went to Paris to take part in the Special Olympics 2026.

They came third and took home a bronze medal🏅🏅🏅

There were 26 teams from 5 different countries and we could not be more proud of Ash for what him and his team have achieved 😁🤩 Go Vikings! 👏

Last Friday Emma came into SPPOT and did a workshop with our lovely volunteers using flowers and leaves to print onto paper with paint. Each print captures delicate details and patterns from nature using our wonderful garden🌻🌱

Next time we will be printing onto bird boxes which will brighten up our garden and make some lovely homes for the birds!💚🐦

Such beautiful weather again today! We would just like to reassure all our customers that we take every sensible precaution when walking and caring for your dogs in hot weather:

* Early morning or evening shaded walks
* Extra water on walks
* Cool rooms at SPPOT DHQ - open windows, closed curtains, ice cooled fans.
* We move around the wraparound garden as the sun moves across the sky.
*Ice pop treats
*Paddling pools and sprinklers
*Lots of rest
