Yesterday, I had the absolute honour of being the Celebrant for Toni and Carlton as they said “I do” surrounded by love, laughter, and the people who matter most. Their day beautiful from start to finish. Thank you also to my buddy Mary Barker for reading.

What a truly special day celebrating the wedding of Carlton and Toni at the historic and elegant Holdsworth House in Halifax.

Steeped in history and full of character, their ceremony was brought indoors due to the Yorkshire weather, creating an intimate and welcoming setting where family and friends gathered to witness the next chapter of their love story.

The ceremony began with a special entrance for Carlton and his party, followed then by the beautiful Toni and her party setting the tone for a day filled with love, joy and celebration.

Together, we shared Carlton and Toni’s wonderful love story, reflecting on the journey that brought them to this moment.

A heartfelt reading from my celebrant buddy Mary added a personal touch and was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Their ceremony continued with the exchange of rings, the symbolic tying of the knot, and the signing of the wedding certificate as Carlton and Toni made their promises to one another.

It was an absolute privilege to create and lead such a meaningful and personal celebration, surrounded by so much love, warmth and support from their family and friends.

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on June 5. It is a day to raise awareness about environmental issues and to take action to protect our planet.

As a business, I am committed to doing my part to protect the environment. I have implemented a number of initiatives to help reduce the environmental impact, including:

Shredding and recycling all my paperwork with a professional company: This helps to reduce waste and conserve natural resources.

Using energy-efficient lighting and appliances: Reducing our energy consumption.

Encouraging families and couples to meet when I’m in their area: This helps to reduce our carbon footprint.

I believe that we have a responsibility for the environment. By taking action to protect our planet, we can help to create a more sustainable future for everyone.

This morning at Huddersfield Crematorium, I had the honour of leading the service for a beautiful kind and generous lady. Having met with her good friend of fifty years there were so many stories to share.

Thank you Kathy, Margaret and the team. It was an absolute honour to be her celebrant. 💗
