Not Every Dog Wants to Say Hello

We all hear it when we’re out:

“My dog just wants to say hi!”

That might be true for yours. But mine?

Mine is learning to feel safe.
Mine is building trust with me, not strangers.
Mine doesn’t want to say hi and they don’t have to.

It’s important to consider other dogs feelings when out in public

Not every person wants to interact when they’re out

Some of us just like our own space and not to be bothered

Consent matters. For people and their dogs

Please respect that, by keeping your dog under control and not bothering others

It was my m**s dog Ozzys, 16th birthday last week! Bless him! Deaf as a post he is but still gets happy to see me 🥰

Lots of garden renovating jobs to tick off, meaning some doggos were exploring more than they should 🤣 Frank at least trying to but Luna going down the Side of the poly tunnel!

Charlie using the floor as his breakfast bowl. 😂 and we had a trip to beamish 6th July, got a new planter 🤣 yes it's a sausage dog! All painted up too.

Been a fab week. Margo experiencing a water sprinkler and ducks 😂
New girls Brie being amazing with all her new doggo friends. Everyone was soooo good meeting her last Tuesday.

Orla watching us from her window going on walks, waiting to see if we were going for her. Sadly not today but see you soon. And my lush daycare cloakroom all done! Thanks to Lunas hooman for making the name tags!
