🔥 Today is the hottest day of the year – please take extra care of your furry friends! 🐾☀️
We know how tempting it can be to stick to routines, but in this heat, a quick walk could become a real danger. This helpful guide breaks down what temperatures are safe for your dog, and when it’s best to keep them indoors. 🐶💧
🌡️ At 28–32°C, it’s far too hot for walkies. Keep pets cool inside, offer fresh water often, and use fans, cooling mats or damp towels to help regulate their body temperature.
🌳 If you must go out in slightly lower temps, aim for early morning or late evening and avoid pavements, test with the back of your hand first!
Please remember: flat-faced breeds, older pets, and those with health conditions are especially at risk in the heat.
Let’s keep tails wagging safely this summer! 🐕❤️
