The lovely Mia is still looking for a new home, through no fault of her own.

On behalf of client:

✨ Mia ✨

Stunning over-height Connemara part-bred, ready to excel in any discipline.

15hh approx (likely to mature at 15.1hh), rising 5yo dapple grey Connie X mare.

Mia is proving herself as a superb all-rounder with a great attitude to work and a natural talent for jumping. She has been lightly produced since being broken last year, having had time away to mature over the winter. She is unspoilt and ready to further her education with someone who has a good understanding of youngsters.

Mia has been out to local training shows and is performing clear confident rounds at 60cm, she is jumping 70cm at home (SJ & XC) and has loose jumped over 90cm fences with ease. She really loves her jumping and will take you to a fence despite her relative inexperience, she's not phased by fillers in the slightest.

Mia has XC schooled up to 70cm, she doesn't hesitate into water and has breezed over ditches. Mia has also completed a hound exercise at the end of last year and proved sensible.

She works into a natural frame on the flat with ground-covering paces. She progressing well on the flat. She is active & responsive but not in the slightest bit fizzy.

Mia will hack alone (with a bit of encouragement from the rider) and in company safely. She likes to lead but will go behind when asked. She is proven in a wide variety of traffic (including tractors, motorbikes and bicycles). She is safe in open spaces and hacks quietly around our 120acre farm.

Mia would suit someone wanting put their own stamp on a quality youngster. She's seen enough of the world to prove reliable in all disciplines but has a relatively low mileage.

She is excellent to groom, load, clip, bath, lead, catch, for vet & farrier and is just generally a lovely person to be around. Currently barefoot and on minimal feed so is a low-maintenance good-doer!

This mare has a very bright future and is looking for her forever home.

Only for sale due to her current owner not having enough time to run two horses with a young family & busy work schedule.

High fours/negotiable to the right home.
Tack available by separate negotiation.

✨🥥 Bounty 🥥✨

Competitive proven SJ/NSEA/PC/Event pony, always in the ribbons! Would make a brilliant BS pony for height classes.

Full up 12.2hh Eriskay pony x British Spotted mare, 15 years young (started as a 6yo so she has lots more years left in her). She's a real leg on each corner type so will carry adults with no issue - could make a petite mother/daughter share.

Bounty is a real diamond of a pony, her whole history is known as she was originally produced & sold by me as a 7yo and has since been snatched up by friends/family where she is now sadly outgrown. A 5* home is essential for this girl!

Bounty is an exceptional SJ pony with countless placings & wins to her name PC & NSEA. She hasn't yet affiliated but I think she would make a cracking competitive 128cm pony, she is brave, scopey & nimble on the turn.

She schools well on the flat and has 3 balanced & correct paces, she is very light in the hand. She needs a bit of leg on the flat but loves her jumping and is very much a (controllable) point & go type when there are fences involved. Snaffle mouthed at all times. She has competed successfully at dressage as well and also taken part in mounted games rallies where she has proven very versatile. There isn't much this pony can't do!

She could also make a super pony for the show ring, she would be eligible for WH classes and moves well with presence to give her a competitive edge.

Bounty is great to hack, alone & in company. In open fields or in traffic.

Bounty has the heart of a lion but can be a sensitive girl, she needs a firm but sympathetic handler as despite knowing her job inside out, she can become unsettled by change. Once she builds trust with her rider/handler she will tackle anything for them.

She will live in or out, no history of health issues however she is sensitive to midges so will rub her mane/tail if fly rugs/lotions aren't applied.

Re-available for ⛵️ through no fault of his own. Wispa has proven himself as a perfect LR/FR family pony for the last 3 months, however due to a change of circumstances at his yard his owner can no longer commit to keeping him long-term⛵️.

Wispa is a proven LR/FR, reliable child's pony. Been there done a bit of everything. 11.2hh, 9yo Welsh Section A gelding.

For the last few months he has been looking after a 5yo novice jockey on the lead rein in the school and out on hacks, and he's recently started progressing her off the lead rein. He's also been used by an 11yo boy to have fun with off-lead.

Wispa is versatile enough to be complete beginner's LR pony or a confident rider's FR pony. He's looked after 2yo & 3yo jockeys too. He will stand and be pampered on the ground and he loves attention especially from children. Good to do in every way.

He hacks alone & in company, on the road & in open spaces.

Wispa is a lovely model of a Section A, he moves very well with ground-covering paces and has a very attractive head making him a very starting contender for LR & FR showing classes.

He is clean limbed, has no health issues and no history of laminitis.

Wispa can be dominant in a herd but has settled well in mixed/same-sex herds without any issues with me.

Mid four figures. To include good quality tack & rugs.

Girl gang!

A little throwback to a few weeks ago where Mia & Rose attended a training show at Felbridge. Mia jumped her first 60cm and achieved a clear round, Rose jumped her first 70cm and just had an unfortunate pole, but I was thrilled with her attitude in the ring despite her lack of experience.

Groom Kerry came along to assist and also put in a full day's shift back home tending to the rest of the gang.

I am very grateful to have such a great support network around me that enables me to get out & about with our trainees.

What goes around comes around ➡️➡️➡️➡️

This little pony came to me 7 years ago as a sales project, she was a sassy little thing but very trainable and she couldn't do enough for you if you got her on side. She was the most fickle pony I've ever sold - if she didn't like her rider/handler she just wouldn't perform 😂.

We finally found her perfect match in Kelly & Millie Davis who did the most amazing job producing her further and accelerating her SJ career. Unfortunately she was outgrown quite quickly and since then she has changed hands within a close circle of family and friends of the Davis's. In this time she has continued to perform consistently in the ring, hacking, XC and even some dressage on the side too - there really isn't much this pony can't do!

I'm so excited to have her coming back to me on sales livery next week to find her a new family who can take her on the next leg of her journey.
I have such a soft spot for this pony and I cannot wait to have her back.

She's 15yo now and still a rosette-winning machine. Although she has very much settled down over the years she is still more of a 1.5/2nd pony than a first pony. She's full up 12.3hh, Eriskay pony x British Spotted mare and whoever has her will not be disappointed!

Here's some pictures of her from past to present as she is just too cool not to share.

She will be under assessment with us for the next few weeks and her full advert will follow soon.

Our first homebred, Chance, is going to be a daddy!!!

Our lovely Connemara broodmare, Lady (first picture on right), is confirmed in foal to Softwater Luck (Chance), due July this year.

Here's some pictures of Chance over the the last 3 years because we just adore him so much.

He's turning out to be quite an impressive stallion so I cannot wait to see what his progeny turn out like.

11yo, 13.2hh black NF gelding with excellent bloodlines.
Sire: Haywards Impressionist
Dam: Longslade Moody.

Timmy is an attractive, charismatic pony with lots to offer for a competitive child/teen, however he would also suit a leisure/hacking job for the less competitive rider. He's a sporty stamp of a NF pony with plenty of ability and a good attitude to his work.

He is proven over 90cm at home with SJ wins at 75 & 80cm. He is a careful jumper and will go off any stride and do his best to clear every fence. He is a point & kick type and straightforward both in the warm up & in the ring.

Timmy is a safe XC or hunting pony (snaffle mouthed) and isn't shy of ditches, water or hedges. He is a seasoned hunter and has previously whipped-in for Tedworth hunt. He doesn't get strong or silly and will stand patiently between lines.

Since Timmy has been in our care he has been on multiple SJ, XC and hunt outings and we can vouch for his reliable nature.

He loves hacking and will go in front or behind, he's good on the road & in open spaces. He will hack out politely alone or in company.

Timmy works well on the flat into a light contact in all three places, he is active but at the same time has good brakes. He would also do well in the dressage ring & would be a good candidate for eventing.

Timmy is good to do on the ground, he can be sensitive to groom/wash his legs but is never nasty. He's good to lead, catch, load (trailer & lorry), clip, for vet, dentist, farrier.

Timmy would suit a home where he has sufficient turnout as he will become bolshy if he is stabled for prolonged periods of time without access to grass. He is also beautifully clean to muck out and requires minimal bedding. He would happily live out but alternatively is happy being stabled overnight with a daytime turnout routine.

He is priced very reasonably and has a huge selection of rugs & quality tack available by separate negotiation.

It is with great sadness that our baby Valli will be looking for a new home 🏡 😭

For ⛵️:

Rising 1yo gelding by Geminia SZ x Tawnydun Aengus to make at least 15.2hh at full maturity.

Cavalier Catwalk (Valli) is a dun Connemara x Sport horse who boasts excellent breeding lines both on the Connemara and sport horse parentage.

His grand sire is Temblebready Fear Bui and on his great-grand-dam lines he has Quidam de Revel and Heartbreaker. He is 1/4 TB which adds a bit of blood for anyone looking for a future eventer.

Valli is halter broken and has been extremely well handled, he ties up, will load in a trailer, picks all 4 feet up politely and has undergone our initial training in-hand which consists of some lateral steps and rein-backs on cue.

He is exceptionally brave and will pop over ground poles for fun. He is friendly and turns out with a mixed herd and will slot into any routine. He has lived out & been stabled overnight with us and is proving very versatile and adaptable.

He is only available to a knowledgeable & experienced home who can bring out his full potential - only for ⛵️ due to being overstocked.

PM for videos/further info.

Looking for a new home 🏡.
On behalf of client:

🐴 Timmy 🐴

- 13.2hh, 10yo, black NF gelding.

- Suitable Hunter/PC/NSEA/BS/BE/Mounted games pony.

Timmy is a talented, competitive 2nd pony, yet he boasts reliability and safety. He's a true work-horse and loves his job, be that hacking out on the buckle or blasting over hedges out hunting. He's a fun, versatile and trustworthy pony who has really looked after his riders here with us.

Timmy is a very attractive pony with a huge presence - he has excelled in every discipline asked of him.

He works well on the flat with a soft mouth and light contact, he's currently progressing well under professional schooling and is starting to carry himself more uphill in all three paces. He would produce a lovely dressage test and make an exceptional event pony for a grass-roots eventer.

Timmy has a brave & scopey jump, clearing 1.20m with ease. He's successfully SJ'd at 80cm with wins to his name. He is an excellent XC pony and isn't shy of water, ditches or skinnies.

Timmy is a seasoned hunter, whipping-in for Tedworth hunt with his previous owner. We took him out last weekend with the Staff College Drag and he proved to be polite and level-headed throughout, he stood wonderfully between lines and was happy at the front or the back of the hunt.

Timmy hacks alone & in company, first or last. He is great in traffic and open spaces.

Timmy is good to do for dentist/vet/farrier/to clip. He can be a little impatient to groom and tack up purely out of enthusiasm to get going. He's never nasty, just playful and cheeky.

He has tonnes of character and will make someone very happy.

Timmy would be a great mother-daughter share. He will look after your child but provide you with enough fun and capability that you wouldn't need anything bigger! He is proven at PC rallies and in other large group environments.

Only for ⛵️ as he didn't quite make the step down for a novice rider who needs more of a 1.5 pony.

Full history known. Only 2 owners throughout his lifetime.

Timmy comes with a vast selection of top-quality rugs and tack. To be included in the ⛵️.

🦄 LADY 🦄
The ultimate unicorn ride & drive pony.

Looking for a new home.🏡
On behalf of a client.

Exceptional quality 13.1hh traditional piebald cob, 10yo mare. Ride & drive, a real unicorn pony who could excel in any sphere, or would be equally happy being a child's best friend.

Lady has exceptional paces and a correct confirmation. She is a true stamp of a cob and will take up the leg of a taller rider despite her shorter stature. She could make a competitive dressage or show pony with a little more work in her canter. She is balanced in the walk and trot and carries herself well in the bridle, however due to her driving work the canter has been slightly neglected. She understands the canter aids but needs support from the leg whilst she is still green - she is a very quick learner so she would develop quickly in the right hands. She is responsive but steady enough for a novice. Lady has limited experience jumping, but will happily pop when asked - she is a very honest soul and really tries to please.

She will look after young/novice/nervous children. Suitable mother/daughter share.

Lady hacks alone/in company, off-road/on-road, she'll go in front/behind, she is reliable and enjoys her work.

She is good to lead, groom, to tack-up, clip, bath, for vet, dentist, farrier. She is a very good-doer and doesn't require hard feed. She currently has front shoes on but has been barefoot before. She is up to date with teeth, jabs & worming.

She is a remarkable driving pony who really knows her job, she has been driven by younger less-experienced people.

Lady is a real character, she is very vocal and whickers when she sees you, she adores human company and will stand all day for fuss and grooming. She is very good to do on the ground, suitable for handling by little ones. She really is an all-rounder unicorn pony, a rarity in today's market.

Her only vice is occasionally banging the stable door for attention (only when there are people within her sight), she is also being treated for dry cracked skin behind her knee - so can be reluctant to lift that leg when asked, other than that she really is the perfect pony!

This pony is looking for a 5* home and prospective buyers will be asked for references.

Lady has a huge amount of driving experience and loves her job whether it be ridden or in harness. She has been driven by a young teenager so would be suitable for a novice driver as well as someone more experienced.

She is fairly priced and will continue to be schooled during her stay with us.

Missy - looking for a new 🏡.
I would consider a trial period or LWVTB.

Missy is a full up 148cm, rising 8yo NF x TB mare, a really attractive mare with a leg on each corner.

Suitable hunter/happy hacker or low level all-rounder for someone that is willing to put the time/vet work into her.

I am currently experiencing performance issues in the school environment which I can't currently afford to investigate - however she is very happy & sound in a straight line. All details will be declared fully upon enquiring. I also feel like she would be better suited to a 1 to 1 home as she thrives off human company and she would love to build a partnership with her soulmate.

She is a proven hunter and absolutely loves her job, she will stand like a rock between lines and will tackle any country, be it marshy ground or hill work on the Downs. She is strong but manageable and loves her jumping. She is very sure footed and will always bail you out if the striding is slightly off - she is a really reliable type.

Missy will hack alone & in company, however she needs a confident rider when hacking solo as she can be a bit sticky leaving home. She is good in traffic but can be a bit tense with large vehicles coming up quickly behind her - she is much more relaxed on the road in company (but manageable solo). She is safe in open spaces (prefers to be at the front). She isn't one to buck or rear but she can bring her front feet off the floor if she's being particularly nappy on her own in a new environment.

Missy is really good to do for vet/farrier/dentist/clip/bath/catch/groom/load. She's a really easy keeper and is on minimal hard feed & currently barefoot.

Missy is dominant to other horses so will take a while to settle into a herd environment and will likely be the boss - especially if there is food around. I would advise turning her out individually next to other horses as she is more settled in her own space.

I am looking for a home for her with someone who can understand her needs, where she will be cherished and have 1 to 1 care and attention.

She is priced very realistically with consideration made towards the fact that she may need further vet investments/price is negotiable to the right home as finding the right match for her is my priority.

Right then! Who's in the market for a proven 2nd pony?

Meet Timmy - 13.2hh, 10yo NF gelding.

Timmy is proven hunter - having whipped-in for the Tedworth Hunt. He's a reliable, competitive pony club type with wins at 80cm SJ and a very good brain out over XC. He has all the personality you'd expect from a competition pony, whilst being relatively straightforward and safe.

Timmy is a 'been there done it' type but without the ridiculous mileage that often comes with competition ponies. He was purchased off the Forest by his first owner who brought him on slowly & correctly from the age of 6 months until he was nine years old!

Timmy is only for ⛵️ as he hasn't quite made the step down to a 1.5 pony - he would suit a home where he can busy himself with plenty of outings and training to reach his full potential. His current owners found him little too much engine and brain to look after a young jockey who requires more of a 'plod' type, coming off her first pony. He was never nasty, just bored!

Please get in touch to register your interest for this lovely boy, he will be under assessment for the next couple of weeks prior to his official advert being published. He is sensibly priced, (high fours) which includes with a full wardrobe & good quality tack.

Another Sunday, another day out with Coakham Bloodhounds.

Missy is thriving out hunting, she's proving reliable, sure-footed and very patient when waiting between lines. She's also gained some admirers as one of the smallest jumping horses amongst the pack today - she really held her own throughout some challenging country and large fences, being one of two horses that tackled the largest fence that stood at well over a metre.

Hats off to rider - Nieve - who rode her brilliantly out solo as I was without a ride on this occasion. There's no stopping these two as they get increasingly gutsy, I love to see Nieve grinning over fences!

Start them young!

Prime Ponies youngest recruit - my 2yo niece Daisy.

She has shown a real interest in riding recently, so in typical auntie fashion I brought her a pair of tiny jods and riding boots for her birthday. I know I'm biased but talk about a cuteness overload!!!

Whisper proved himself as a reliable lead rein pony for her teeny tiny frame.

She completed two lovely rounds at 70 & 80cm, just rolling a pole in each round - my fault for letting her get a bit too forward through related distances.

Another great day out with the hounds yesterday with Missy & Ivy!

Missy was star of the show and has really proven herself in this field, she was bold over the fences and stood like a rock between lines.

Ivy was great whilst on the move but struggled to contain her excitement during the waiting phases which lead to some less desirable fidgety behaviour. I think showjumping might be more up her street as she's very careful over a fence. A trip to Felbridge is on the cards for her - watch this space!

We miraculously managed to avoid getting too battered by storm Isha, so overall it was a great day out!
