We are so pleased with the new youngstock barn development at the farm. We've now got winter shelter for the littl'uns... they've even got their own patio area too. 💅

We have been so impressed by the work completed by FST Equestrian, Agricultural and Estate Management ltd, we won't hesitate to use them again for any of our farm projects. 10/10 recommend 👏

Looking for a new home 🏡

On behalf of client:

**Revised advert **

Approx 16.2hh, dapple grey ID 5yo mare.

Leisure/hacking/hunting/broodmare (with the potential for more with further production).

Tilly is a classy project horse for someone looking to put in their time rather than money into a quality horse.

Due to her size and low-mileage she is proving unbalanced on a tight turn, we have experienced a subtle asymmetry on circles in the school which could limit her future as a competition horse. Please note: she has had a lameness work up and Osteopathic assessment to address her suitability as competition horse, both parties' findings were insignificant and suggested she just needs time to mature into her body with straight line & hill work. Tilly is sound on all flexion tests and in a straight line, but at this point only time will tell whether she will be up to a higher calibre role in the future. Despite this Tilly loves her hacking so she would suit a leisure/hacking/hunting home as she is currently. She would also make an excellent broodmare with class 1 lineage including Killcrenmon Gold and Pennmerryls Rhythm and Blues lines.

Tilly is everything that you'd expect from an Irish Draught. She boasts 9" of bone, a broad chest and shoulders, a deep girth and a leg on each corner. She really is an exquisite stamp of the breed. She has a real presence about her with a fine, pretty face and loveable nature.

Tilly has undergone extensive groundwork and she is a dream to work in-hand. She is established working laterally from the ground, she is polite and receptive to her handler.

Tilly thrives off attention, she has a very trainable attitude and really wants to learn.

She is acquainted with poles and small fences and could be further produced to jump once full physical maturity has been reached.

Due to a slump in the market we are offering Tilly as more of a blank canvas rather than 'the final product' - purely due to a higher demand for project horses in the current economic climate.

Tilly has a very low mileage for a 5yo, she was broken and produced very lightly before being purchased by her current owners (May 2023) who have spent the majority of their time getting to know her from the ground due to a combination of lack of time and experience with young horses hence the reason for looking for a new home for her (no fault of Tilly's).

She is excellent to mount and safe and reliable to hack in company, she will hack alone with a confident rider that will push her through any hesitations leaving home. She is excellent in traffic. Tilly has been out on hound exercise once in the 23/24 season and will be taken out with the hounds on 10th Nov to further prove her reliability as a hunter.

Tilly is good to do on the ground, she leads well with other horses and has settled within a mixed herd but she will also turn out by herself (with others nearby). She is good to bath, groom, clip, load, catch, for vet/dentist/farrier (currently barefoot with very good feet).

A good home is a must for this much loved girl.

Just below mid fours. Tack and wardrobe available by separate negotiation. Offers considered.

Full details for Carolina's Comet (Caz):

It is with great sadness that I will be looking for a new home for my Caz.

Carolina's Comet (Caz) born 2022, by my own Coco (Quidam de Revel/Heartbreaker lines) sired by advanced event stallion Jigilo (Jumbo x Summer Jane). To make 16hh.

Jigilo has been very successful on the event circuit (see pictures for further details) and his excellent temperament can be seen in all his progeny. Caz is the full sibling to my 3yo stallion Chance - who can also be viewed as a glimpse into her future and a testament to their temperament.

Caz boasts plenty of blood with 50% TB breeding on both sides. She is fine limbed but possesses substance through her frame, she is very quick across the ground and has the aptitude to event or SJ.

Caz is the kindest mare you'll meet. She has a gorgeous attitude to life, she's laid-back, willing, attentive, sociable and intelligent. She handles like a 8yo!

Caz has lived in and out with us so she's very adaptable to a stabled or field routine, she's good to lead with other horses (she has regularly lead out as a three). She picks all four feet up politely and has started our young-horse training programme and therefore understands rein-back, hindquarter yield, shoulder yield alongside some very early circle walk work. She's been bitted and desensitised to girth/back pressure.

Caz has an outgoing nature and is very bold towards a fence, she has lightly loose jumped and is showing excellent scope and technique. We don't ask our young horses to jump huge fences as I don't personally believe in putting their joints through that level of wear and tear at a young age, she is proven up to 70cm and not fussed by fillers. She has acquired both her parent's attitude and ability for jumping and I can see her going far in this field.

Caz loads & travels well in a trailer. She's good with the farrier and has had regular trims in her lifetime. She's worn a dental gag and had her teeth checked. She's very amenable to whatever you ask of her. She's good with the vet and is up to date on her vaccinations.

She is only available due to needing space at the farm, especially as my stallions mature it is becoming increasingly hard to accommodate so many mares.

I will only part with her to the right person. 5* home only for this much loved filly.

Mid-high fours.

Looking for a new home 🏡

🩶 Tullaha Tilly 🩶

Top Quality ID (class 1 lineage including Killcrenmon Gold and Pennmerryls Rhythm and Blues lines), approx 16.3hh, 5yo dapple grey mare.

Tilly is everything (and more) that you'd expect from an Irish Draft. She boasts 9" of bone, a broad chest and shoulders, a deep girth and a leg on each corner. She really is an exquisite stamp of the breed. She has a real presence about her with a fine, pretty face and loveable nature.

Tilly has undergone the early stages of her groundwork in preparation to re-back and professionally bring on, she has been sat on and ridden away in walk and will continue her training with us until she has found a suitable home. She is safe and sensible and has a wonderful temperament to work with. Tilly enjoys her training and thrives off attention, she has all the assets to go very far in any sphere. She moves well enough to perform in the dressage ring, she's acquainted with poles and small fences and could be further produced to jump, she would also make an excellent hunter or show hunter.

Due to a slump in the market we are offering Tilly as more of a blank canvas rather than 'the final product' - purely due to a higher demand for project horses in the current economic climate. Her value will increase with the further input that she has from us, she is available at a very reasonable value for a limited time only before her value increases to reflect her further training.

Since arriving with us Tilly has been assessed in a variety of environments and we have taught her our standard young-horse programme; consisting of static & dynamic relaxation work, spook-busting/desensitisation, in-hand work (hindquarter-yield, shoulder-yield, rein-back, yielding to a bit contact). We have also reconditioned her topline on long-rein hacks (off-road and in traffic) alongside some double-lunge school work. She lunges well in walk & trot and is starting some early canter work. She has had mounting block prep and will stand very patiently to be mounted from both sides. She is accepting of a rider and the aids but has only walked/trotted lightly under saddle at this point in her training. She can be further produced with us to suit individual requirements.

Tilly is good to do on the ground, she leads well with other horses and has settled within a mixed herd but she will also turn out by herself (with others nearby). She will pick up her feet politely (she's occasionally still a bit green with her back feet but nothing nasty, just heavy with them). She is good to bath, groom, clip, load, catch, for vet/dentist/farrier (currently barefoot with very good feet).

Tilly is a big girl who does occasionally need reminding of personal space boundaries but she is never malicious. She is a straightforward young horse with a very bright future.

A good home is a must for this much loved girl.

The role: Groom/Assistant Trainer (training can be provided).

- Immediate start
- Full-time (minimum 30 hours a week, optional overtime up to 40 hours).
- Potential for a permanent position after initial probation period.

Location: Bridgehill Farm livery, RH12 4RN (South East).

We are a small-scale livery, stud and training yard specialising in young horses/breaking.

📣 Due to my head groom being out of action with a broken arm/pelvis we are now hiring. 📣

Part-time weekday/occasional weekend cover role required.

Prime Ponies are looking for a new team member to assist with daily yard duties & exercising/training the horses for the right candidate.
- Must be a minimum of 17 years old.
- Must have a drivers license and own transport as we don't have public transport links.
- Must be comfortable with taking sole cover of yard when required.

Training can be provided - see terms below.

We are a small-scale stud, production, sales & livery yard. We train all of our stock using classical & natural horsemanship methods - this role would be a great opportunity for someone looking to learn more about clicker training & horsemanship approaches and generally expand their ridden/groundwork skills. Complimentary training can be provided as part of the role (weekday availability for training is a must as there will be limited training available at weekends). This role would also suit someone looking to gain some experience in sales or breaking, depending on the candidate we may offer involvement in young horse training or viewings and sales admin.

Training is purely optional for those that may be interested.

No previous stud experience necessary but confident handling of young/fit horses is required.

Roughly 10-15 hours a week available until at least October, hours may decrease once my head groom is back to work later in the year.

Ideally the right candidate would be available to work at least two weekend shifts a month alongside some weekday hours.

Our general shift pattern is:
AM: 8am - 12/12.30pm
PM: 3.30/4pm - 5.30/6pm.

Good rates of pay, happy horses, happy staff & liveries - come see for yourself. 😎

Reliability is key, a sense of humour is a bonus!
