What a pair of stunners! Alfie the American cocker and chase the border collie. Alfie just loves being pampered as you can tell by the cheeky grin!
Chase was a rescue dog and we’ve taken lots of time to slowly introduce him to grooming, yesterday was his best session by far he was so relaxed and you could see how much easier he finds it all now. Patience is all that’s needed 🥰🥰

How cute is Archie the jack Russell! He will be 15 next month and can you believe had his first professional groom just 8 weeks ago after I promised his mum she’d love me for ever once he’d had a good deshed and she didn’t have his fluff stuck to everything 🤣 he’s now coming every 8 weeks to keep the moulting under control ❤️

This is Poker the ! And yes he’s a big as he looks!
Now you know I rarely take on new big breed clients, not because I don’t want to but because of my back injury. However I groom Pokers owners other dog ( you’ve all seen Noah the ) and they asked if I’d consider taking Poker on.
So they brought him down to meet me and show the he would get in the bath and on the grooming table and I agreed to see how we got on.

And what can I say except what an absolute delight this beautiful big lad is. So very well behaved can just a joy to groom. Let’s just say I didn’t need any persuading to book him for his next groom 🤣🤣

There isn’t much I hate about my job, but this is one part, seeing these dogs I adore grow old, Tuckers my little bestie when he visits he doesn’t like many people but he’s always loved me and loves his grooms. Today was hard he’s getting tired , so he laid down for his groom and of course we had lots of cuddles.
I love the bones of this dog and every visit is special - we don’t take it for granted when they get to be as old as this boy. His grooming sessions might not look like they did when he was younger, and his haircuts might not look as great, but he still loves the attention and that’s all that matters and I’ll never say no to one more hug with my little pal ❤️❤️❤️
