I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who has been so understanding and rescheduled their appointments. You all know I hate letting people down but it’s just too hot for the dogs and myself included.

I still can’t believe I’m seeing dogs being walked at peak temperatures. If you see someone doing this to their poor dog please call them out on it - fills me with such anxiety. I posted this on my Instagram and thought it may be worth adding it on here too.

Stay safe, keep those paws cool, and I look forward to seeing you all very soon once the weather has decided to sort itself out ☀️🐾

☀️☀️IMPORTANT! ☀️☀️

Hi everyone, with another heatwave headed our way next week, I wanted to check in and share a quick update regarding upcoming appointments.

During the extreme heat a few weeks ago, for the first time in years, I made the decision to reschedule a few grooms. Even with the air conditioning running, the record-breaking temperatures made it difficult to keep the salon at a perfectly safe, comfortable temperature. More importantly, the drive to and from your dog’s groom can be incredibly stressful and dangerous for your pups in that kind of heat.

With that in mind, please be prepared that I may need to reach out to reschedule your appointment if the temperatures skyrocket again. This is never a decision I take lightly - especially when I have new clients and their lovely pups to meet - but your dog’s safety will always be my absolute top priority. I won’t put them at risk.

Behind every groom is a whole lot of love and a massive commitment to keeping your pups safe and happy 🐾✨

I’m so happy to share that I’ve recently completed my canine health and first aid refresher course. Keeping my skills in emergency handling, CPR, and injury care completely up to date is so important to me, because your dogs truly mean the world to me and deserve the very best care.

All my past sessions with have been so interesting and eye-opening, and this one was no exception - I swear I learn something new every single time! A huge thank you to the lovely Sophie Bell for another amazing course. I’m already looking forward to the next one ♥️
