First of all. Thank you to our clients that have had a call from us today.
The last thing I wanted to do was shut the shop. However, this afternoon was styfiling. Even with the cool air system. It was too much and even our well behaved clients were irritated.

So I made an executive decision and 1 have not taken lightly.

We will be closed for the next 2 days.
Stay safe, stay hydrated. Keep a close eye on your fur babies.

Hi everyone,

It me kiera!

I would just like to say with the heat this week,

YOUR DOG’S WILL BE GOING HOME DAMP!!!
I’m sorry but it’s way too hot to fully dry them due to risk of them overheating,
If you walk your dog to us, please get in touch to reschedule or find a lift ESPECIALLY Wednesday or Thursday!
Make sure you put your aircon on for 5 mins before you get them in your car!!

I know you will probably be thinking oh but my dogs really need a groom and the only way I can get there is walk… I can promise you they’ld be much better and safer staying home without a 5min or however long walk!!

Please note that if you have a big doggie booked in with us Wednesday or Thursday we will more then likely be in touch to reschedule you,

I also hope I don’t see any dogs tied up while the owners pop next door!!!

We like our doggies cool, safe and stress free!

Please don’t take this post personally guys, you know what I’m like I say thing in black and white and love to tell people off when it comes to keeping doggies safe!😂

I thought I would share this with you all.
Hopefully it will give you some good knowledge on how to care for your pooch with this extreme hot weather we are having. We will still be open however, if you walk your dog to the shop, please don't. Take the car and have the air con on! I know I will see dogs still be walked in this weather and yes it upsets me.

'a dog won't die from missing a walk but, a dog could die from heatstroke!'.

Keep your dog happy and healthy in warm weather with our advice for safe fun in the sun.

Good morning,

So I'm arranging for in the next few months to hold a 4 hour certificated first aid course for our doggies.

The course is £65. It will be held at my shop and I will also provide refreshments.

If anyone is interested in learning this fantastic skill, please let me know.

Hello, its me Tate.

So a couple of things that I wanted to share with you hence the photos. we now have another gate that closes of reception. Maisie our Jack Russell will be joining the team, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Maisie is a lovely soul and her nick name is 'wiggle bum'.
Secondly, some of you know that I have been poorly since February and recently had to take some time off and what with Merlin's passing - I am still able to smile from somewhere. may have something to do with my wonderful husband bought us a new step through power assist bike, see picture of us below, on what seems like a lifetime ago from our holiday week before last. You may see us 3 x a week. You may also see me on a Monday morning, heading from the warren to johns café on Hayling seafront. Tbh, if you can't see me, then you'll hear me with 'good morning'....... and yes I do shout as I have music playing. Almost a 19 mile round trip. So good for the soul this morning. apologies if I made anyone jump!
Thirdly but by no means lastly. I may have some exciting news to share with you regarding Wags @ Tate Ltd. but, that can wait! not to keep you in suspense, I'll let you know in a week!

First of all. Thank you for all your kind comments, messages and texts. I am very numb and my husband whose baby he really was, is devastated.

I have always said, that grief is unspent love that has nowhere to go. Time with dogs who give unconditional love is short and for Merlin, very short!

Why do we put ourselves through it?

I think these words, sum it up perfectly!!
