You all seemed to love the last throw back of baby Casper, so we thought we'd treat you to another one! 🦨

When Casper first came to us, he was quite a poorly boy and wanted to spend 99% of his time asleep. Unfortunately, skunks need to eat a certain amount of healthy foods to keep their blood sugar levels up, otherwise they can end up having seizures! So we needed to make sure he stayed awake long enough to eat his food, and to make sure he was nice and well socialised to make sure he turned into the lovely cuddly boy you all know and love!

As you can, this wasn't an easy feat! 😴🤣

It's national skunk day!

Yes it's a day to celebrate everyone's favourite cuddly little stink monster 😂

As one of the faces of J&S, Casper has helped us bring what we do to hundreds of people. He is a massive handful at times but he's also a perfect ambassador for his species 😊

So please join us in wishing him a very happy national skunk day! 🦨

Another fantastic weekend over 😁

Saturday saw us return to Rhosddu funday. We had an incredible time again with so many of you remembering us and the animals. In particular, one gentleman, who still had his Casper sticker from last year 😊

Today we've been in Wrexham again, to help celebrate Jacobs birthday with all his friends. They were such a good group, amazing with the animals and kept us on our toes by asking some very interesting questions 😂

Working full time and doing shows every weekend can be exhausting at times, but when we see a childs curiosity develop into genuine interest, it makes it all worthwhile. We're here to educate the next generation and ignite a passion in them to learn about and protect the animals we share our planet with 🌏

We're so grateful to everyone that gives us the chance to do that 💚

⚠️We've got T shirts!!!⚠️

One our favourite things about what we do is the people we meet.
We recently did a show for some very lovely people who it turns out, run a printing business.

Our second biggest passion in life is music of the heavier variety and we know a lot of our followers share that passion. So, after a few messages back and forth, the masterpiece below was created (huge thanks to Perham Prints for the design) and you can now wear it with pride 😂

These will be on a pre order basis so we can order them in bulk and pass the savings directly onto you! They will be £18 each with all profits going towards the care of our animals 😊

Last week we had the absolute honour to attend Liverpool John Moore's University after being invited by Prof. Peter Falkingham, Professor of Paleobiology, who met us at a show last year!

We took a few friends with us to take part in some utterly fascinating studies the team there are doing, to enhance our understanding of the biomechanics in animals both present and past 🦖

We got to see the process, learn about some of the studies, and even see some CT scans that the team has done previously.

We loved every second, thanks for having us!
We absolutely cannot wait to see the final results and share them with you guys!🦎👀

It's almost the best time of the year... summer holidays! Which means... WILDLIFE WEDNESDAYS ARE BACK!🦎

That's right, we're back at Gwrych Castle again, every Wednesday for 6 whole weeks! And we cannot wait!

After having the BEST time last year, we knew we had to bring Wildlife Wednesdays back, this time, bigger and better! We've got new animals for you to meet, as well as all of our regular favourites! 🦨

What better way to spend some of your summer holidays than by meeting some of the world's most misunderstood and fascinating critters, while having a super fun and educational day out!

And the best thing? The fun doesn't stop there! Meeting the animals is included with general admission tickets to the castle, which means you get to spend the day exploring a stunning historic castle too! 🏰

After a super busy Saturday, we had a chilled out Sunday attending a close encounters session 😊

We absolutely love doing this smaller shows as it gives us the chance to showcase our animals in a more familiar setting for the attendees. This results in a relaxed atmosphere where questions can be asked freely and curiosity turns into a genuine passion for animal welfare 😊

It's world parrot day! 🦜

So what better day to introduce Barry, the quaker parrot 😊

Barry came to us from a lovely home, but sadly his owner could no longer keep him. He's a lively little guy with bags of personality, and a particular love of the song "old Mcdonald had a farm" 😂

We're giving Barry a few weeks to settle in, while we work with him a bit more, but we hope he'll be joining us at shows soon!
