I'm still very behind on my posts. Morph is a M C**n boy who has a very thick coat. He's not keen on our sessions but he needs regular maintenance grooms otherwise he mats. 😺🐾

During this groom I clipped his underside as this helps prevents the mats. I gave the rest of his fur a good comb through, trimmed his claws and cleaned his ears. Morph likes his treats so I can distract him when I groom the sensitive areas. He's such a softie but very strong so when he wants to get done from the table that's his break time 😂😂

I visit Poli a few weeks ago (sorry for the delay in posting!) Poli is a head strong M C**n girl. I've been grooming her since since she was about 4 months old and she still doesn't particularly like our sessions! 😂😂

Thankfully she is food motivated so one of her humans is always at hand to feed her treats to distract while I groom her. 💜💜

Poli's fur was in a pretty good condition, just the one small mat to clip, a good comb through and claw trim and that was the session done. 😺🐾

Poli was playing with the water in the sink after her groom, such typical M C**n behaviour 😻😻

This is Kevin, he's a Persian Chinchilla. I've been grooming him for a while now but he isn't that keen on our sessions. He was unfortunately matted so he had a lion cut to make him more comfortable. He's always a good but wriggly boy during his grooms, he was a bit less wriggly this time. 🐾😺
Kevin had his claws trimmed and ears cleaned too, the photos are from his mum taken four weeks after his groom so his fur has grown a bit. Isn't he a cutie 😻😻

Bloom had a maintenance groom recently. She's an older girl who likes to give me a hard time in our sessions. I thought we were coming to a better understanding of each other as she was getting less reactive but for this session she didn't settle as much. 💜💜

I gave Bloom plenty of breaks and had to shave some areas on her underside, which she didn't mind too much. I trimmed her claws and gave the rest of her fur a good comb through. Bloom accepted a fuss after her groom so she forgave me quickly. 😺🐾

This cutie is Arthur, a gorgeous Ragdoll boy. This was his first groom, he had a few mats underneath so these needed to be clipped. He was a wriggly worm so I had to shave for a few seconds and then give him a break but we eventually got it done. 💟💟

I gave the rest of his fur a good de-shed, trimmed his claws and cleaned his ears to finish the session. Hopefully Arthur will improve with each session and learn to like it, even if it's just a little bit! 😺🐾

This is Ruby, she's a M C**n girl who is not a fan of being groomed. I've groomed her for a while and the last session she had a mat that I couldn't get to because she's very strong and will bite so we tried a mild sedative for this groom which worked well. 💟💟

I managed to shave the mat between her front legs and shave her underside. If Ruby gets mats it's always on her underside so prevention is better than struggling to shave the mats when she gets them. I also gave her a good groom through and I trimmed her claws.

Isn't she just the most gorgeous girl 😻😻

Crystal (white) and Elise (grey and white) had a maintenance groom with me recently.

I've groomed Elise a few times before, she's much fluffier than Crystal and was pretty sassy during her groom! She had a good comb through to remove small knots and the dead coat. 😺💟

This was Crystal's first groom with me because she's a new addition to the feline family. Crystal did very well, she settled down very well and loved having a fuss. I gave her coat a good comb through to remove some dead and loose fur. Both girls had their claws trimmed and ears cleaned to finish their session 😻😻

Another maintenance session for these three lovelies, Ghibli (grey), Maiya (cream) and Koni (tuxedo) 😻😻
Ghibli had her lion cut, so we can maintain her fur. Ghibli likes to make a lot of noise during the groom but she is a good girl.

Winston is a young M C**n boy had to have his sides, underside and trousers shaved due to thick matting. I've groomed Winston before but I've not seen him for over a year so it was a tough groom for him as he was a wiggly worm. 💟💟

We got there in the end with a few breaks and some lick e Lix distractions. I think Winston looks happy and more comfortable after his groom 😻😻

Nora (white) and Dora (dark grey) were on my grooming table recently.
I'd previously groomed Nora before and she was a tricky, wriggly girl when I had to shave a few mats. This time she was much better because she only had the odd mat and I think she knew that it wasn't that bad. 💟💟 I gave her a good comb through to remove some built up fur and claw trim.

Dora who's never had a groom before was a bit nervous but did really well, she had a few mats so I had to shave patches and then give the rest of her fur a good comb through. 🐾😺

I'm going to be visiting these girls more regularly to keep on top of their fur. Aren't they beautiful 😻😻
