Style 2 Rescue 2025🐶🐾💚

A grooming competiton to raise money for chosen Charities like Wheels to Paws, Many Tears, SAWA, Hessa’s Homeless Hounds and more! Some even are looking for homes!

We went to support SAWA - Santorini Animal Welfare Association. As they are abroad their dogs couldn’t come to the competition.

We took 11 dogs up to Coventry to raise money for these fabulous rescues! What a brilliant day it was! One none of us will forget!

I can’t thank my clients enough for letting me take them out for the day!

All dogs were on their best behaviour and came home looking fabulous!

Special shout out to Teddy the Cavachon him and his groomer! They only went and won BEST IN SHOW out of over 80 other dogs!! Teddy has never been in a competition environment before and first time he ever met this groomer! He took it all in his stride and we couldn’t be more proud of him!

Another shout out to Izem & Emilia! We all took our grooming equipment just in case other groomers couldn’t make it! Well, there was two poodles needing to have a groom so the girls decided to give it a go! Both Izem & Emilia’s first time at a live comp on their own! Both of you should be so proud of yourselves because I know I am! Also was Izem’s first time fully sc******ng a poodle! Both dogs looked beautiful!

Thank you to Bridget for being a taxi for the day and Lorna to bringing a few poodles for a groom!

‼️IMPORTANT PLEASE READ‼️

From 1st June, all services offered at Scruff 2 Fluff including full grooms, bath & deshed, puppy grooms, nail trims, EmmiPet teeth cleans & any add ons will be increasing.

I haven’t had a price increase for 2 years & with outgoings/overheads increasing rapidly I have no choice other than to increase prices for my small business to survive.

We will also be introducing extra charges for matting & aggressive/difficult dogs. As matting damages our equipment which means it needs replacing or sharpening, which is an additional cost to us as a business.

Also to clients that already leave a longer schedule inbetween their dogs grooms than we recommend for the style you desire, it will mean that your price will be affected by this.

All clients will be contacted individually with their new price, but please appreciate that this is very time consuming & we have a lot of clients to get through.

With this in mind, our collection times will be adjusted. We will be calling you/text 20 mins before your dog is ready for collection, rather than saying a definite time. As depending on your dogs coat on the day etc, we do not want to rush any of our services.

Hello Clients,

We really need your help! There is a grooming competition that happens every year in Coventry called Style 2 Rescue! All proceeds go to charities to help all the dogs.

What we need from you:
Dogs that are due hair cuts around 11th May.
Are you happy for your dog to come out with me for the day to Coventry and to be groomed by an experienced groomer.
Any breed of dog but not shorthaired or silky handstrips
Has to be happy to be groomed
Happy to travel in a car with other dogs
Best part is it will be for free unless you would be happy to donate to the charity❤️

PLEASE READ🐶

For all clients booked in today & this week, Alisha had to have an unexpected procedure yesterday underneath her arm which is causing her some pain. She is still working as wants to fulfil all clients appointments, however collection times will differ as she isn’t able to work at her usual pace!

Also our stylist Izem is off on her holiday this week so this means Alisha has double work load. Alisha’s procedure was unexpected as mentioned so we are working with what we can do!

For phone calls and messages, Ruby is responding to as much as she can to help me but isn’t able to assist for all days/hours, so please just leave a message and we will get back to you when we are able to📞

We ask clients to be respectful & to let us know if they are no longer wanting their appointment due to this, although we have no other availability to offer you in replacement.

Today is RESULTS DAY!! 🎉

Alisha, Izem, Ruby and Emilia have all taken part in Spring Fling which is an online comp! We find out the results later today🥰

We would like to thank our amazing clients for letting us borrow their dogs for this comp! We really love to learn and grow. We couldn’t of done it without you❤️

I’m so proud of Ruby, Izem and Emilia for putting themselves out there to further their learning🐶

We have got 250 papers that are in the salon for our clients to come & grab to vote for us in “You’re Favourite Awards 2025” Pet Groomers or Pet Shop in the Welwyn & Hatfield Times Newspaper🗞️

We are over the moon to have been voted & got into the final!
Page 10 has all the details on how to vote, if you’re dog is booked in over the next 2 weeks please don’t hesitate to take a copy & vote at home. Also welcome any of clients to pop to collect a copy of they would like to vote!
