💧 Refill bird baths daily using a watering can directly from your mains tap.
🪨 Adding a few stones or pebbles so bees and other insects can land safely.
🌱 Keeping a small area of your garden a little wild to provide cool, shaded shelter.

Even a small bowl of clean water can be a lifeline for birds, hedgehogs, bees, and butterflies during hot, dry weather.

🦋 Nature's little moments can be the most magical.

A member of the Ark Wildlife Team spotted this wonderful gathering of Gatekeeper butterflies whilst out for a walk at Panshanger Park this weekend. Seeing so many butterflies together is a fantastic reminder of just how important our wild spaces are for pollinators.

It's also the perfect time to get involved in the Big Butterfly Count! Whether you're in a park, garden or out in the countryside, spending just 15 minutes counting butterflies can help monitor the health of our environment and contribute to vital conservation efforts.🦋💚
