So we've been quiet today, for a good reason.

I got up at 5 to get to Newmarket early, to look at horses.

Say hello to Calibos, bought from Daniel and Claire Kubler.

He is a lovely horse who has won and placed on the flat and I think we'll have some fun with him over hurdles.

I took Bobs post down until the other matter is complete.

Elvis was an absolute pain in the arse with another horse, he screamed and screamed for Bob.

However he settled down and was actually very good. 2 run outs at a big brush, rider error but also greenest and a pole down.

For his first go at arena eventing, over a very twisty course, with several skinnies, it was very good.

Well done tall one and the ponies.

Off to drink copious amounts of gin now. Well one anyway...🤣

I went to check on the grass in the fields and ended up playing grandma's footsteps with Hugie and Meehan 🥰

I've said I'll wait till Christmas to bring Hugie back into work as hes soooo big.

It seems ages away but its worth waiting for. Time taken now should help minimise issues later on i hope.

I need to confirm with Peter but safe to say they aren't great and we probably wont be running for a few weeks now.🙄

Still we had fun with Bob the over achiever this morning.

His first time jumping without shoes. Let's see if he continues to be comfortable.

No worries from him today, it was lovely to watch them have fun. Cheered me right up.🥰

Jimmy and Jolene's scopes look clear, as Peter said, you ciuld add them to your Gin...

However we will wait for them to be grown and blood results before we make any plans.

Keep on keeping on...

I am in talks with various salt companies to find the most cost effective way forward, fingers crossed this time next week we'll be using one.
