We had a fairly quiet weekend with no runners but we have got a fairly busy week starting at Wetherby tomorrow. We have Commit Or Quit running tomorrow and he won at Wetherby before having a nasty fall last time out at Warwick. On Wednesday we have a very interesting runner in Sacre Coeur who has won her last two chases in France and has her first run over here. We also have runners at Bangor,Fontwell and Sedgefield at the end of the week. I read this morning that my ex has got engaged thank God ! The word will be a safer place. When l was going out with my ex l was down at the pub with a couple of my mates who were telling me about the amount of control they had over their wives. After a while they looked at me and said ‘ What sort of control do you have over your bird ?’ I said ‘I’ll tell you. Just the other night she came to me on her hands and knees.’ My two mates were amazed and said ‘What happened next?’ ‘She said, GET OUT FROM UNDER THE BED AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN!’ A friend of mine once said ‘Instead of getting married again,I’m going to find a woman l can’t stand and give her a house.’ Anyway the cold weather has hopefully gone and we might get a bit more racing this week. It was a bit frustrating losing so many last week and it is difficult finding races for horses as there is such a backlog of horses trying to run everywhere. I accidentally left the freezer door open last night and all the food went off. My wife was furious and said ‘What am l supposed to do with all this food?’ I said’Look darling don’t make a meal out of it.’ Stay safe
