Update on the little girl I took in just over a week ago . Fortunately Misfits Rescue were able to offer her a maternity place very quickly . If I hadn’t of taken her in it’s scary to think about her giving birth outside. Huge thanks to Sue,Dave, Lizzie , Kat and Cathy my lovely volunteers who stepped in straight away to offer their help

New arrivals 🐱

We are so happy to announce that Autumn gave birth late Saturday night / early hours of Sunday morning under the close watch of one of our amazing maternity cat fosterers 🐾

Autumn has welcomed 5 beautiful babies into the world, all born without any complications and all feeding wonderfully from mum.

So far, Autumn has been an absolutely wonderful mummy. She’s staying close to her babies whilst also eating really well to keep her strength up during this important time.

Autumn has a crate set up in her foster room where she safely gave birth to her kittens. The crate door remains open at all times so she can come and go as she pleases, whilst keeping her little ones warm, cosy, and safe inside.

A huge thank you to our incredible maternity fosterer for keeping such a close eye on Autumn throughout her labour and making sure both mum and babies are doing well.

Mel and I are supporting a new group being set up to protect the wild life in the Memorial park in Herne Bay . Tonight we were alerted to a group of youngsters with a catapult trying to hit the ducks . We need as many volunteers as possible to safeguard these innocent creatures so if you are local and free even an hour a week please let us know and we will let you know when the meeting will be . We are patrolling the park to try to keep the ducks safe.
Last Saturday night it was cat rescue , tonight it’s the birds 🦅
