🐾 Meet Our New Hydrotherapist!

We’re thrilled to introduce Rachael, who will be joining the Ease In Motion Canine Rehab team full-time when we reopen in November! 💦

She’s been shadowing behind the scenes over the past few weeks and has already proven herself to be an incredibly capable and caring therapist - connecting beautifully with our patients (and winning over a few nervous tails too!). 🐶💛

We’ve taken great care in finding the right person to join our team - someone who shares our values of compassion, precision, and patience in helping dogs feel and move their best.

Rachael will be a familiar face in both the pool and treadmill once we reopen at our new premises in Herne Bay, and we know you’ll love her as much as we already do.

🛠 Sneak Peek: Part 2!

👀 Things are really taking shape at our new home!

Every detail is being designed with your dogs in mind - from open, calm spaces to easy access for our canine clients. Here’s a just a few of the things we’ve been working on this week:

🐾 Door signage has been designed and on order (pic is mock up)
🐾 Painting, painting and more painting!! 🎨
🐾 Trial run of the separate areas with the new wall frames
🐾 Hygienic sheets jnstalled on the walls
🐾 Carpet colour chosen for the new training area, ready to be fitted once the dirty works are complete

We can’t wait to show you more soon!

Cold weather can make recovery a little trickier for our dogs 🥶

As we are heading into autumn and winter, here are a few simple ways to help them get the most out of their rehab sessions 👇

🐾 Warm up with a gentle 5-minute walk before appointments if able to

🛏️ Bring a dry robe or well-fitted coat to keep muscles warm pre and post therapy

💧 Offer fresh water before and after sessions. Hydration is key!

🦴 Keep joints happy with a recovery-appropriate resting area at home

👀 Here’s a glimpse of our new home in the making! It’s a family affair of course! 💜

This week we’ve been working on:
🐾 Building partition walls
🐾 Reception benches upholstered
🐾 New drainage installed for the shower area

This bigger space means more treatment options and even more comfort for your dogs. 🐕💖

It’s all go-go-go now, looking forward to seeing it in action in a few weeks!!

Big changes are coming! In just one month, Ease In Motion Canine Rehab starts our move to a larger, better-equipped space.

💧 We are hiring - IMMEDIATE START 💧

We are seeking a physiotherapist AND hydrotherapist to join our small team at Ease In Motion Canine Rehab & Hydrotherapy in Herne Bay, Kent.

We’ve seen exponential growth over the 3 years after opening and due to an ever increasing client base, we are looking for a hard working, enthusiastic dog lover to help us continue to grow and provide outstanding care to our patients.

The successful candidate will have:

🐾 Level 3 hydrotherapy (with treadmill certificate)

AND/OR

🐾 L6 physiotherapy with treadmill certificate

🐾 At least 6 months experience in the industry with a range of dogs and conditions

🐾 Ability to manage their caseload effectively and compassionately with excellent communication skills

🐾 Ability to work with autonomy as well as part of a small team

🐾 Registration with NARCH
