The sun has well and truly come out for bank holiday!
It’s important that we always consider the well-being of our furry friends in these warm conditions.
🐾 Some top tips for dog owners:
• Get familiar with a dog temperature chart, a good point of reference for what temperatures are safe for dogs to be out and about
• Do not go on walks during the hottest part of the day, instead go early morning or last evening (temp dependant) - missing a walk is not the end of the world!
• Make sure you’re aware of and can identify the signs of heat stroke in your animals
• make sure water is always available
• Dogs don’t always know what’s good for them, they might not choose to stay inside or in the shade so it’s your job to do what’s best for them - they’ll thank you in the long run

Warm weather conditions are always taken into consideration when carrying out services, especially walks.
• Water is always made available
• Location is considered, opting for shade and grass surfaces where possible
• Walks are tailored to the needs of the individual animal
☀️ On hot days:
• If conditions are too too for a walk, they will be changed to play at home
• If your pet has cooling accessories (e.g. jackets, mats, pool etc) these will be used
