Well I think I have new cover girls for my Bridle fittings don’t you agree? 🦄 Today I had the absolute pleasure in assisting Tilly & Merrylegs ~ little Dartmoor mare who loves ponyclub and dressage and has started mini workers, and by far the cutest unicorn we’ve had over here at Pax Equestrian!
What a beauty she is, and a perfect fit in this Henry James Bridle and HJ calfskin supergrip with stoppers reins.

Pax Saddlery & Leatherwork has a new larger sized stamp set for those gorgeous personalised pieces 😍 very popular with Gun slips and cartridge bags! The smaller font is super handy for marking tack but we often have enquiries for the larger pieces so here we are!! Very impressed with the quality too, and what better way to mark the buckle guards I’ve been making.

It’s spring like today isn’t it! A reminder for me that Bespoke Bridle orders are next on the workbench 🥰 excited to see what’s in the diary, including a long awaited bespoke Headcollar for a special unicorn 🦄

When a phone call starts with
“I’ve been given your number with regards to bespoke leatherwork… and we are told you like a challenge”
😅 oh dear….
This was indeed a challenge!! I’m not familiar with large Yachts or sailing, and certainly never been asked to repair or produce anything connected to it.
These are 2 huge Helm wheels, in desperate need of renovation ⛵️

Task was to remove the perished leather, and restore the Helms to their original glory!
Finally finished and we are thrilled with the client’s reaction and gratitude 🥰

Another pair of tired tall boots in the workshop this week! It’s not just Saddlery we can work on, we offer some renovations services here at Pax Equestrian 🪄 From replacement zips and patching, to Popper replacement and elastic laces.

We would like to wish all of our fabulous clients a Very Merry Christmas!
An extra special thank you to those who have dropped by to see us this week to collect their bespoke Christmas orders, the workshop has been overflowing with chocolate and bubbles 🥰 and even treats for the spanners (pictured below… Pepper looking especially festive)!
Now for a few days to recharge the batteries and spend some precious time with family!
