Please take a moment to read a little note we have received from Weinor below. We feel it's something we would like to make aware to our lovely customers.
Please note this applies to ALL awnings not just of the Weinor models:

"Do not activate awnings under frosty conditions!
Every year, it makes sense to inform awning owners about some special particulars regarding the use of awnings in winter. Please draw your customers’ attention to the fact that awnings may neither be retracted nor extended under frosty conditions, because winding and unwinding frozen fabric may result in serious damage to the awning. At sub-zero temperatures, the weather sensors of the construction should also be deactivated to avoid automatic retraction and extension"

B O N F I R E N I G H T ✔

Today we thought we'd share a little Bonfire Night Safety with you all before tonight's celebrations begin!

DO's:
- Position the bonfire well away from houses, sheds, garages, fences, overhead cables, trees and of course our awnings, pergolas and patio roofs!

- Make sure the bonfire is stable and will not collapse

- Ensure everyone is a safe distance away from the fire and ensure children are supervised AT ALL TIMES

- Keep buckets of water, a hose or an extinguisher around in case of any mishaps

- Pour water on the remains of the bonfire before coming indoors

- Keep all pets indoors, windows and blinds closed and minimise noise as much as possible.

- Wear gloves when using sparklers

- Check for any small wild animals before you light the bonfire

- Light fireworks at arms length using a taper

DONT's:

- leave the bonfire unattended

- burn things like tyres, cannisters, plastics, foam filled furniture, materials etc.

- Light or store fireworks/sparklers near the bonfire.

- Use flammable liquids to start the bonfire

- Go near a firework after it has been lit - even if it does not go off

- Touch fireworks after they have gone off

- Touch sparklers after they have gone out

We love to take a picture of our installs once we have completed them but our safety and our customers safety always comes first ☝️

So here's last weeks install of our Lakeland Windermere - fully retracted back into its casing. Due to high winds we didn't want to pose any risk of injury or damage to the awning.

Just a little friendly reminder to ensure you are using your awnings correctly and safely and getting the most out of your product ⭐️
