As we head into the final couple of weeks before Santa comes to town id like to take a moment to offer some advice that will help you, to help me, to help you!
🐍 If you already have your setup please bring photographs of the enclosure, the heating, the thermostat, the uvb etc
🦎 If you already have uvb we WILL ask what kind of uvb, what output, how old it is, and will need to see where its positioned. This is simply because not all UVB is made equal and not all UVB works the same in every enclosure. If you dont know, we may have to refuse the sale until you can find out as it is incredibly important.
🕷 Please check what supplements you have, we will ask and this is so we can advise you how to use that specific product or brand correctly and safely.
🐢 Please be aware that it is NEVER my fault that you bought the wrong gear. I'll just leave that one there!
🦂 Please remember that when we ask dozens of questions about specific equipment it isnt to test your memory it is for the welfare of your future pet. Selling animals takes time, so we will not rush through the process.
🐸 If we refuse the sale because your setup isn't ready or isn't setup appropriately this is not with the intention to ruin everyone's Christmas, thats just an added bonus 😉 It is to put the animal's welfare first and foremost and make sure that those starting their pet keeping career at Christmas will have a great start and have many long years with their new animal.
🐊 Lying to me about the equipment you have will get you nowhere, we know how to catch you out, so just dont bother.
We are lucky and most Christmas periods are problem free with everyone being able to get the animal they want with a setup tailored to that species. But theres always one 😉
We dont change our sales policy over Christmas, im as strict and unyielding as the other 11 months a year.
