Important notice.

Most of my regular customers will know that I closed Amber Valley Avian Holidays last October due to a change in my personal circumstances. It was a difficult decision, I loved every minute of my job, met some amazing birds and lovely people, some of whom are now good friends. This is just to say a big thank you to all of my customers and to confirm that I will definitely not be reopening. I am leaving the page open for you to post photos and updates of your birds if you wish as I miss them all.

LOST PARROT – PLEASE HELP!

My pet parrot has escaped from my home in the area and was last seen flying around nearby yesterday evening.

It may be sitting high in trees or on rooftops and might not respond when called because it is scared. Lost around NG8 1BD

Green, fluffy

It is a tame pet but may be nervous outside.

If you see or hear anything, please do not chase it — it could fly further away. Instead, please message me straight away with the location. Reward will be given if parrot is found after information is given, thank you.

So due to personal circumstances and no fault of his own unfortunately Charlie is back up for rehoming 😢

He is a 25yr old African grey, he is a very loving bird especially towards males, females he isn’t keen on but I’m sure he will come round with confidence and patience, he does have a very good vocabulary and will make you smile and laugh throughout the day, he is currently on a pellet and seed diet and eats everything we offer him 🥰

He can be a shy bird but with time he will come out of his shell

He does come with his own cage and a home check will be required, also a rehoming fee will apply
