Charlie, age 13, came into our care through our Cat Guardians service, which allows us to care for and find a new home for a cat if their owner passes away.

Older cats can take up to three times longer to rehome than kittens, but luckily for Charlie, Natasha was looking to adopt an older cat. Partly because she knew they can be harder to home, but she was also looking for a more chilled lap cat.

Charlie fit the bill perfectly and settled in with Natasha right away! With Natasha's permission, our team were also able to keep Charlie's previous owners' family updated with pictures of Charlie happy in his new home!

Poor Bud was in a sorry state when he was taken in by the team at Cats Protection North East Lincolnshire. His tail was dragging behind him, and he was covered in wounds. He was diagnosed with neurological damage, likely from a past injury. The recommendation was to amputate the tail to allow Bud to live pain-free. Now in much better health and pain-free he is ready to find his new home. http://spr.ly/AdoptBud

Sweet Stanley is a guy with a more sensitive side, looking for someone to take a chance on him! 🐾

He arrived in a cardboard box at Tyneside Cat Centre. It took a while for him to come out of his shell, but when he gets to know you, he loves to snuggle up and sit on your lap.

Update: Stanley has now been adopted!

Dental issues in cats are extremely common as they age; unfortunately, they can be expensive to treat when issues arise. But the good news is that there are many things you can do to help keep their teeth in good shape. A healthy diet, regular vet checks, and slowly introducing brushing their teeth all help. Piu Piu has been at Wales Cat Centre - Canolfan Gathod Cymru for more than 120 days, making her their current longest-staying resident!
She spent her 9th birthday in care, but the team made sure to celebrate! This is her second time needing a new home, as her most recent owner sadly passed away. Piu Piu prefers her own company when it comes to cats, but she loves people and is just waiting for someone to take a chance on her.
