Happy Friday! πŸˆβ€β¬›πŸ’œ

What better way to start the weekend than with a fairy tale ending? Meet Milly and Dillon, stars of one of our wonderful outdoor homing success stories. 🏑🌳

Dillon was adopted from Cats Protection a few months ago, and more recently Milly joined him at her new home at a stable yard🐴

When Milly arrived in Cats Protection care she was quite wary of people. However, she was happy to observe from a distance and watch the world go by. A stable yard proved to be the perfect environment for her, allowing her the freedom to simply be a cat with no expectations placed upon her, while still having the opportunity for human interaction if and when she chooses.

It didn’t take long for Milly and Dillon to become the best of friends. They can often be found snuggled up together or exploring their surroundings side by side. As the photos show, these two happy cats who both came from similar backgrounds are truly living their dream life.

Some cats thrive in outdoor homes such as farms, stables, smallholdings, and similar environments. Milly and Dillon are wonderful examples of how the right home can help cats flourish, and they are incredibly lucky to have found the perfect place to call their own and they are very much adored by their adopter😻

If you can provide a cat a loving outdoor home then please email us on [email protected] πŸ“§

πŸ’› Helping nervous cats find confidence.

Our desensitisation volunteers contributed an incredible 2,637 hours last year.

Many cats arrive in our care feeling frightened or overwhelmed. Through patience, consistency and kindness, our volunteers help cats learn to trust again.

Sometimes progress is measured in tiny steps: a curious glance, a cautious approach, a first gentle stroke.

Those small moments can change a cat's future.

Thank you to every volunteer helping cats build confidence and prepare for a loving home. 🐾

🐾 Meet Snoops πŸ–€πŸ€

At 10 years young, Snoops is a stunning black and white lady with a petite frame and a great personality!

This cheeky girl knows exactly what she likes. She's an expert biscuit-maker, loves rolling around in catnip, and will happily come over for a fuss and rub around your legs when she's in the mood. Snoops prefers to keep affection on her terms though – a few gentle fusses suit her just fine as she can get overstimulated.

Snoops is looking for an adult-only, pet-free home where she can truly be the star of the show. She loves exploring outdoors, so a safe garden for her adventures is a must.

While we don't know much about her past, we do know that Snoops has plenty of love to give and a wonderful character that's guaranteed to make you smile. She's happiest as the only cat around and is looking for a home away from visiting neighbourhood cats, so she can relax and enjoy life her way. πŸ‘πŸ’•

🏑OUTDOOR HOME NEEDED FOR MIMI 🏑

Meet Mimi, a beautiful 3-year-old girl searching for a special outdoor home to call her own. She would thrive in a farm, stables, smallholding, or a home with plenty of outdoor space and land to explore.

Mimi is a nervous cat who prefers to keep her distance and enjoy her independence. In the right environment, she may choose to build a bond with her new family, but for now she’s happiest doing her own thing. She will need to be the only cat in her new home.

Mimi will be fully vet-checked and come with everything she needs to settle into her new life with youπŸˆβ€β¬›

If you think you could offer Mimi the safe and loving outdoor home she deserves, please email us at [email protected] or apply online via:

Could you be the special person to give Mimi the freedom, space, and care she needs to live her happiest cat life?❀️

This sweet girl is Honey 🍯

Honey is a beautiful 7-year-old tortoiseshell and white girl who is just as sweet as her name suggests.

She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, Honey soon begins to relax and show her affectionate side. She enjoys company and will happily sit beside you, quietly keeping you company throughout the day.

Once she knows and trusts you, Honey loves a fuss and will reward you with plenty of purrs. She also enjoys playing with wind-up toy mice and making use of a good scratching post.

Honey is looking for a calm, adult-only home with patient owners who will allow her to settle in at her own pace and help her build her confidence gently. She would like to be the only pet in the home so she can fully relax and enjoy her surroundings. As a long haired cat, she will need to be groomed daily to keep her coat in tiptop condition.

Once settled, Honey would also love access to a safe garden where she can potter about and explore in her own time.

🀍 Meet Michelle 🀍

Seeing us into a hot Bank Holiday Monday is Michelle, a lovely 14-year-old black and white lady who has so much love and affection to give.

She absolutely adores fuss and attention, and will happily roll around soaking up all the affection you can offer her (as you can tell from the pictures!). Michelle is a wonderful companion cat who simply enjoys being close to you.

Although she may be a senior in years, Michelle is still young at heart β€” playful, active, and a joy to spend time with.

Michelle could happily be rehomed as the only cat in the home, where she can enjoy all the attention to herself. Alternatively, she may also be able to go home with her sister, Anette (featured yesterday), following a gentle reintroduction.

She is extremely friendly and could live with children following a successful meeting at the centre. Once settled, Michelle would also love access to a safe garden where she can enjoy exploring outdoors once again.

If you’re looking for a loving companion to become part of the family, Michelle could be the perfect match πŸ’Œ
