Creative Creatures. Episode One. Today I am showcasing the artwork of my student Sienna who has a talent for illustration and poetry. I’m encouraging all my students to produce art and poetry inspired by the animals they meet. You’re welcome to send me some me too. DM me your creative works and I’ll read it to me of my creatures.

Well done Sienna, this art piece is brilliant. If you enjoyed it too, feel free to let her know in the comments.

I feel these days that within our culture, having faith is a taboo… a shameful little secret we whisper under the radar. And I admit it, I’m scared to post this because I think more people will instantly unfollow. It’s not a video I’m comfortable posting… but there it is sitting in my edit program sine last march. Not a bad little piece but does the work need to see it?

Talking religion makes me cringe because as a child I was forced to go out into the street and sing Christian hymns at strangers.

However, I have overcome so many obstacles in my life by trusting in something bigger. Faith is not a badge I wear to show others what I believe, it is a relationship with a force greater than myself. It is the great unknown that I talk to when I hit a wall and the one I thank when I overcome my difficulties. This brings me peace in adversity and it lies underneath it all, driving me to help people and animals.

Happy 52nd week of Animal School. That’s right, I have officially been posting every week for a year, often everyday.

It’s been a fun ride for a technophobe like me and those of you who watch to the end can see footage from my first attempt last year šŸ˜‚(And you know what to do) šŸ™‚šŸ™‚šŸ™‚šŸ™‚šŸ™‚

ā˜€ļø 🄵 this week making content has felt most difficult, I’m dried out from summer, feeling an assortment of imposter syndrome insecurities-i’m old and fat and uninteresting… but luckily this only lasted for a moment before the kids and animals and nature slap me in the face (metaphorically) 🦘 šŸ šŸ‡ šŸ¦™

Reminding me I’ve got a job to do and I’ll keep sharing that while there’s people to listen. Anyway you can keep scrolling now šŸ˜‚
