If you've been following Critter Sitter for a while, you'll know I've been working on something behind the scenes...

After months of planning, paperwork, measuring things 47 times and wondering whether I've completely lost the plot, we're nearly ready to open our dedicated dog daycare and enrichment centre.

Target opening: End of June 🐾

🐾 A bit of an honest update…

If you’ve been following along, you’ll know I’m working towards moving into a dedicated space for daycare in the near future.

Nothing is changing overnight — everything is still running exactly as it always has.

But I wanted to share a bit more about how I actually run things, because I know how important that is when choosing care for your dog.

• Small, well-managed groups — never overcrowded• Proper walks built into the day• Short, local pick-up routes (no long hours in vans)• Calm, structured days so dogs go home settled• Regular updates so you know exactly what they’ve been up to

That’s how I’ve always worked — and that won’t change.

If anything, having a dedicated space will just allow me to do it even better and more consistently.

In the meantime, I do have a few spaces available across daycare and dog walking (Mon, Thurs & Fri).

After 10 years of running full packs, we’re finally taking the next step 👀
Critter Sitter Sussex is moving towards a dedicated dog enrichment centre — structured days, better stimulation, and a proper setup for the dogs we already know and love.
Before that happens, I’ve opened up a small number of weekday spaces to bring in the right dogs ready for that transition.
This isn’t just a quick walk: 🐾 Structured group days
🐾 Social, balanced dogs
🐾 Calm, fulfilled at the end of it
Current availability: 👉 Mondays
👉 Thursdays
👉 Fridays
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines or waiting for a space, now’s the time.
Once we move into the new setup, spaces will be tighter and more selective.
Message me with your dog’s details and I’ll see if they’re a good fit.
