Happy September Everyone!

A new month and a fresh start. I am certainly ready for some routine back in my life with the kiddies going back to school.

We have had the best summer, which feels like it has gone so quickly. But you can definitely feel the change in the season coming. These next few months are my favourite time of year, watching the leaves change colour on the trees and the cooler weather setting in.

Iv got so much in the diary and lots to look forward too. I can't wait to share it with you all 🐶

Training Aid!

An adult dog is an amazing training aid when it comes to teaching a puppy.

Here, Ginger is doing a SIT STAY and Stella the pup automatically joins in with her. Stella does sit on command but is learning steadiness and to stay in her sit.

As Ginger was sitting and staying, Stella does it too. Think smart!

The quality is brilliant and I love the colour of them. made the leads to my exact requirements, length and colour. To order them was super easy and delivery was fast too.

A bright coloured lead is a must so that if you drop it, in theory, you can easily find it 😂

Teach your children how to respect dogs and how to act around them.

This is such an important skill that children must know. We want to keep our children safe around dogs and our dogs safe around children. They must know how to behave correctly. Here are a few tips you can talk to them about.

🐕 Respect a dogs boundaries and never approach dogs who are eating or sleeping. This can cause the dog to react in a negative or dangerous way.

🐕 Be gentle when handling or stroking a dog. You don't want to accidentally hurt them.

🐕 Stay calm around your dog so that you don't over excite them.

🐕 Don't scream, yell or make very loud noises around your dog. You don't want to scare them.

🐕Play gently with your dog. No chasing or rough and tumble. This can easily escalate and your children could get hurt.

🐕 Don't approach a dog who you don't know. They may not like children or strangers.

🐕 Always ask owners for permission before touching their dogs.

We are back at it.

After a very busy summer with the children, the kiddies are back at school and the training is 100%.

I enjoyed a lovely walk with Upsy and Margot today. We are working on Margot's confidence in being out and about. She is fine with my other dogs with her but is a little reluctant to go on a walk on her own. She did so well.

I will start to upload some videos of our current training sessions we are doing.
