Spent a lovely morning with Sausages Isla and Skye today 💜

We visited a Freedom field so they could have a good run around and explore. It was their first time in one and they had a ball 🩷

As well as giving them a good amount of time to sniff about, we worked on recall, engagement on walks, stay … and did some confidence building with the agility equipment 💛

I’m really enjoying working with this group - Isla and Skye are just two of four Dachshunds in their house - and their owner is so dedicated and doing excellent work. Well done Team Sausage 😆👏

Look at Maggie! 😍

Maggie is a 12 week Golden Retriever puppy who is doing my private puppy package - isn’t she a cutie?! 💖

Maggie is settling in wonderfully with her new family and proving herself to be a little star. I’m out fist session we spoke about toilet training, teething and socialisation as well starting some ‘life skills’ training which Maggie aced 🌟

I’m really looking forward to watching this pup develop. Well done Team Maggie! 👏

Round 2 *ding ding ding* 🔔

In less that 4 months our family will be growing again - I think poor Ivy and Reyna are about ready to pack up their bindles and move out 🙈

I’ve been a bit quiet of late as the morning sickness has been rough - also the narrative that it’s just mornings and only lasts for 12 weeks is LIES 😅 Feeling a bit brighter now though and getting out into the world when I can 💖

I’ll be working until the end of July so please get in touch if any dog related conundrums you would like assistance with. Areas of specialty include -

🐾 Separation Anxiety support
🐾 Building confidence in nervous dogs
🐾 1:1 puppy training
🐾 Preparing your dog for a baby/ toddler (KAD approved trainer)

🐾 I will also be resuming some social walks for our nervous/reactive pooches

I’ve just got in from a LOVELY session today with a Frenchie in working on recall and engagement when outside - the sun was shining and I’m looking forward to *hopefully* a few drier and warmer months ahead 🤞🤞🤞

Something lovely happened recently - I had not on but two ex clients of mine from when I lived in Fulham get in touch. With both clients I had provided puppy training and now both clients were pregnant and wanting to prepare their dogs for the arrival of baby ☺️

In both cases there was around 4 months until the arrival which is perfect, plenty of time! 🐾

This is a topic close to my heart (and my experience 😅) and I love working with people who are taking the time to ready their dog for the change that lies ahead 🐶 I’m also an approved trainer with KAD (Kids Around Dogs)

Some things we discussed -

🩵 changes in sleeping arrangements / space management that would need to happen and how to slowly implement them ahead of time

💜 preparing their dog for the different noises they’d be hearing and the different objects that will be arriving, especially things that move/ light up / vibrate etc

💛working on essential skills training such as ‘stay’ and ‘leave it’ which will be super helpful!

🩷having a plan in place for the labour for who is going to look after pooch … and a plan B for good measure!

💚safe introductions of dog and baby

I’m so excited for both of my couples and honoured to have followed them along this journey from when their pups were teeny tiny 🥹

Happy 5 year Gotcha Day to Ivy! 💚

Can’t believe it’s been 5 years since Ivy arrived - stole our pizza, jumped on our bed and made herself right at home 😂

After years in the racing industry I would say she more than deserved some comfort 🐾

Last photo shows her on her first night with us. She has a lot more grey now and a lot fewer teeth (rip teef 😞) She also over the years has gotten used to living with Reyna, a flock of chickens and a tiny loud human 👶🏻

We’re very proud of our girl. Little Sass Pot, Little Alligator 🐊😂

Happy 5 years Ivy - I really hope we have another 5 more 💚

Here are some of my latest Puppy Graduates 🎓

Little Luna the terrier couldn’t make the last session but in the photos we have Bob the Dachshund , Bear and Loki the littermate Staffies, and Captain the Boerboel 🐶

All the pups did so well and we completed the course on Saturday with a Graduation Walk 🥹

My next Life Skills Puppy Course has a changed day of Saturday mornings - commencing January 20th! I have a couple of spaces left so do spread the word if you have or know anyone with a pup looking for group training and to start them off on the right paw 🐾

Bob the Dachshund is here to spread some festive joy now that it is December 1st 💫

Everything is still ticking along this month right up until the 23rd December. Services include -

🐾 1:1 dog coaching
🐾 Online separation anxiety support packages
🐾 Social walks- the 17th is our festive walk! 🎅🏻
🐾 Puppy classes - the next course starts in January and places are already filling up!!

🚨 Dog of the week 🚨

This weeks ‘ dog of the week’ goes to the one and only … 🥁… ! 👏

Rosie has been to several of my social walks with her devoted humans and it’s been wonderful to watch how she’s relaxed into the group over that time and has even started to make some friends 💛

Working with some wonderful humans at the moment who aren’t afraid to advocate for their dogs 💪

🚨 DOGS OF THE WEEK 🚨

This week’s ‘Dog (s) of the week’ are … 🥁…. !! 👏

I couldn’t separate these two - they’re just so cute together and are making such wonderful progress 🤩

Willow and Reggie are regulars at my social walks. They both have their anxieties but truly seem to enjoy their weekly walk and the treats that come with it! 🤤

They also act as ‘s emotional support sausages 🤣

I’m in awe of how much time, work and love their humans put into making their lives as rich as possible 🥲

🚨 Dog of the week! 🚨

I thought I would start doing a ‘dog of week’ post with an honourable mention to a dog (and humans) who are particularly impressing me and giving me joy ☺️

This is a hard task because I’m currently working with so many super dogs and their humans but I wanted to give a particular shout out this week to …. 🥁 …. !

Bella has been a regular at my Sunday Social Walks since July and I’ve been so impressed by how far she has come - she is a steady presence, has made doggy and human pals and seems so happy to be there 🥰

I am also in awe of her fab humans who travel from London every Sunday for the walks 🥹👏

I started my Sunday Social Walks to create a safe environment where dogs could meet, walk and enjoy themselves and where their owners could meet other people who have nervous / reactive dogs and ‘get it’. A place with no judgement - Bella and her humans encapsulate that perfectly 👏
